The Dirty Bird
1) Jamaal Anderson, DE/DTJamaal doesn't fit what we're trying to do. He's a subpar DE and an average DT at best. He needs to be traded to or signed by a 3-4 team to be used as a 3-4 DE, which he could excel at. Teams that could really use a 3-4 DE: the Chiefs, the Jets, the Chargers, the Broncos, and the 49ers. We could get as much as a 3rd round pick I think depending on who we trade with, but I think we could put a package together that included a draft pick or a future pick that could get us a 2nd rounder which would be huge in this draft.2) Stephen Nicholas, LBNicholas is an okay SLB, but I really think his best fit in the NFL is as a 3-4 ILB. He's a decently big guy at 6'3, 230 lbs that can bulk up a little more, he can move, and he can blitz pretty well. The 49ers could use him next to Patrick Willis, the Chiefs could use him, the Patriots could use him next to Jerod Mayo, really any 3-4 team that isn't set at ILB could use him. I'd be perfectly happy with a mid-round pick for Nicholas, or using him in a package to get a player we want or a higher draft pick.3) Chris Houston, CBI don't know if we can get anything more than a mid-round pick for Houston because of how poor he and the rest of the secondary has played this season, so it might not be worth getting rid of him and just moving him to the nickel position, but working him in a package with either of the two aforementioned players might be worth it depending on what the trade is.I'd love for us to have our 1st round pick and get a high 2nd rounder as well for this draft and a 3rd. With trades it is possible, and then our draft possibilities are both endless and awesome.1) Travis Lewis, WLB -------- 1) Greg Hardy, DE2) Brandon Spikes, SLB ------ 2) Trent Williams, OT3) Perrish Cox, CB ---------- 3) Demaryius Thomas, WRor any mixture of the sort, of different players, but we could have a great draft. Slimm
I feel like coleman could possibly be expendable depending on how we feel about Moore
hakim24
I would actually replace Jamaal Anderson with John Abraham. Abe can net us a 2nd round pick on his own. Nicholas, JA98, and Houston will never get us a 2nd round pick. I just don't think losing Abe would hurt our D-Line very much. Biermann is going into his 3rd year and I believe he is ready to take a starting role at RDE.Anderson is solid depth at both DE and DT. He is receiving a lot more double teams. He is still very young and I wouldn't be willing to let him go unless it was a 2nd round pick straight up (which won't happen).Anderson has room to grow and can play both DE and DT....he is very valuable imo.And like the above poster said, Coleman could be another guy, but he might be kept for depth. atljbo
I would really like to add a 2nd round pick also but i just know none of these trades are going down..... Abe is the only person tradeable that can get us a 2nd round pick..... The FO is not trading Abe... You guys can believe what you want about Abe but the FO knows that we need his vet leadership and 1 down year (in sacks not QB hits or pressureas) is just 1 down year.... They believe in the guy.We probably could get a 5th round pick for Jamaal Anderson (a 3-4 team).... I dont see the trades you guys are thinking about happening....Its wishful thinking. (if ellis hobbs was traded for a 5th round pick.. thats about the same for chris houston)...

He is pretty much a Pass Rushing specialist who is not rushing the passer very well. If a team offered a 2nd round pick for an aging DE, I would take it. I really think Biermann is ready to take over at RDE. He leads our DE group in sacks and only plays a limited amount of time. I definitely wouldn't mind signing Kampman. If we do, we have 2 very good options. 1.) We could keep him and Abe on the same line and they should both be very good. 2.) We could trade Abe and draft a good LDE in the 1st or 2nd round. I do agree with you about Nicholas, JA98, and Houston though. None of them really have much value on the market, but They can be good role players for our team.... especially Nicholas and JA98
