Yep
Good call moving him to SS....Great job guysYeah, it's proven Coleman's good at FS but not SS, but we play him at SS for some reason...
illest_will
because DeCoud has been making plays at FS
Falcons Ace
Yeah, it's proven Coleman's good at FS but not SS, but we play him at SS for some reason...Coleman is suited more for FS, but has the ability to play SS. DeCoud is strictly a FS type of player, hence DeCoud being a FS and Coleman at SS. Moore going out is the reason for this.
wordtobigbird
was coleman any better at FS? Not like he can cover anyone or is a ball hawk.. All he does is make tackles.
ChessPlayer1
I say get rid of the whole DB field except for Decoud, Hill, and Owens. Everything else can go wherever. oh my.
Falcon Fan in Carolina
Swift Hitter,You are the most negative Troll on these boards. Yet somehow, you dodge any and all of the heat. You make 5 threads a day about how 'terrible' everyone is. There has been so many good posters banned for essentially no reason at all. Yet, here you are spewing your BS, and everyone gives you a pass.

TheEndzoneAnalyst
You will see a camp long battle next year between Coleman and Moore. After watching Coleman this year you have to imagine that Moore will have the edge.

BenB321
You will see a camp long battle next year between Coleman and Moore. After watching Coleman this year you have to imagine that Moore will have the edge.Coleman is a FS not a SS. If Moore is healthy and can play with any competence why would there be any competition between the two. TD brought Coleman into play FS and drafted Moore to play SS. I would think the battle would be Coleman and Decoud for the FS spot.
BlacksburgHokie
He would look better if he wasn't playing out of position, but he hasn't shown to be an impact player at either position.Still, safety play is hardly the main problem facing our defense... vel
about time somebody realized that Coleman has become a liability also. He can only make tackles no big plays. i think once Moore becomes a solid replacement we let him go.
Bring It
Uh, our ENTIRE defense is mediocre.Outside of Lofton and Abraham..............we have NCAA Div. II...........at best. LOL

Tax-Falcon
Moore going out is the reason for this.False. The move was made prior to Moore's injury.
atljbo
yea... Erik Coleman is a FS... a guy that can play the middle of the field.... He does not have great speed but as a deep safety.. He did not need it.. He just used his good football IQ (reading plays).Since Erik Coleman is playing closer to the LOS.. His lack of speed is showing... Erik Coleman is just not a SS.... The guy can tackle but he is not a 3rd and 1 type SS (stop the running back from getting that 1st down)William Moore is what we need.... I cant wait to see what he does next year. muskokas finest ©
Moving Coleman was a desperate move. In a weak secondary, you'd think the one competent player wouldbe safe where he was.
