ChessPlayer1
When we are playing well, it's rarely if ever because we are passing well. When we are playing well, its rarely if ever the defense. We play well when Micheal Turner is running well. Ive seen so many "bump this thread to support ryan", but the BACKBONE of this team wont play today. We should lavish more praise on our pro-bowl runningback Micheal Turner.HE is the main reason we made it to the play-offs last year. HE will vital to us making it to the play-offs this year. period! vabchbirdlover
SO quick to critize when he hits a rough patch, but a bit slow to praise when hehits his stride, now hopfully Jason steps up big time in the Burner's absence,Lets go Falcons!!! ChessPlayer1
It amazes me when people say that we don't have a good line. M. Turner has done great things with this line. Our line has'nt given up many sacks either. Our O-line is good. M. Turner has done great things behind this O-line. Once turner breaks into the second level, its all on him to eat up yards. I understand that the N.F.L. is a QB driven league, but I would argue tht it depends on your offense. Our offense is driven by the run.WE have a running-back driven team. Peyton
When we are playing well, it's rarely if ever because we are passing well. When we are playing well, its rarely if ever the defense. We play well when Micheal Turner is running well. The Falcons started 4-1 getting pretty mediocre production out of Turner. He got 105 yards against the Panthers but only had the opportunity because Ryan converted 7 straigt 3rd downs through the air. Not only that, but think about what you are saying. Turner has had his three best games in the last 3 weeks, and the Falcons are 1-2 in those games. Doesn't that directly. So if the Falcons have lost the games in 2009 where Turner has done well and won most of the games in 2009 where he has done poorly, doesn't that directly contradict your premise? muskokas finest ©
I think Blalock is the most under appreciated player. All the talk about how good Baker is and hownasty the right side of our O-line is while Blalock mauls away in anonymity.
HouseofEuphoria
Turner is underappreciated? First ive heard of that. You wanna talk underappreciated, look at Coy Wire. Everytime the guy steps on the field he does something special; Force a turnover, recover an onside kick, make an important special teams tackle.Turner is so underappreciated he was voted the team mvp by his own teammates and coaches. Even after Ryan earned rookie of the year.

I said when we are playing WELL. I believe that we play our best football when Turner (the mvp) is running effectively. It opens up the defense with the play-action. Sure, there are games when our offense plays well and we lose, but we must run in order to play well.
