nc falcon outpost
The worst part was that I turned to one of the guys that was with me (Panther fan) and I said "We should go for it because Elam is going to miss it." He looked at me like I was crazy, so I repeated it: "I guarantee that he will miss this kick".After the play was over, the guy was thinking I was psychic. I said "No, I just know he sucks and he would choke".
Peyton
I feel certain that the team is trying out kickers today or tomorrow, so I don't feel the need to spend my energy on encouraging them to do so.
FalconFanSince1970
I'm calling for his head. When I saw him snipe that extra point a few weeks ago I started working on a third grade nickname for him. All I could come up with is Elamb. Faith and Gritz I know you won't like that one but maybe you have a better suggestion.

FalconFanSince1970
The most classic thing on that play was Koenan pounding the ground as he was saying "G dm it you sorry as long snapper!!!!"

MorganGrafixx
I was wondering if it had to do with the snap or the hold also. I saw that Elam hitched twice before he stepped to kick. It looked like the hold was good, but something about the snap just didn't look right to me. Was the snap count off? Was Elam just in a hurry? GetUSom3
Trying out Kickers? Who? When? If the Coaches and Front Office haven't cared up to this point, why start now? This guy has been a BIG FAIL all year long, and everyone keeps turning their heads. I would love to think that we are trying out kickers, but the sad reality is - NO ONE CARES!!!
NZFalcon
Gonna go all Gillooly on him?Kinda, but where not attacking a competitor, we are attacking our player
Falcons Ace
There seemed to be some bad timing between him, Koenan, and the new Long Snapper. I don't know if it's his hip injury, the timing being off, or if a combination over the course of the year. Still, it's unacceptable, Elam is not putting the ball through the uprights. 3rd grade nick-names?Eleft as the 20 yard attempt goes WIDE LEFT. Sorry, Jason Elam is hard to work with. Electric Falcon
I figured when they signed Elam that it wouldn't be long before he started having problems. The reason why is I remember early on after they signed him, in training camp where Smitty was talking about how Elam had his own type of training program, and they didn't want to change too much with that. I don't have a link but I remember that being said. There really was no reason, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but now it's broke with no time to fix it.This says to me that : "He's lost a step, or he got lazy during training camp, or both". I don't believe any player should be given the option to train themselves for the most part, that just spells disaster. IMO.....Can he bounce back? He's had his chance, there's no time to improve now, that's what training camp is for. IMO..... Give Michael K. the job. JMO....... MorganGrafixx
If I'm not mistaken Elam came from Denver, right? And Cutler came from Denver, right? Coincidence?
