dipper
Some of you will call me a troll but when you spend good money to travel to New Orleans and Carolina for a game and we loose there is some major frustration. Not do I have to deal with a lost, I had to deal with the Panthers Fans. On top of that it was Hotter than a Thanksgiving day oven. That's not all, we had to take that 3 hour ride back to Atlanta. Then today, I get to work and have to look at the Panthers fans and other Fans talk about how bad the Falcons played. So YES I have the right to be pissed. It comes a time when folks have to be called to the carpet. We've discussed our QB issues in the past and I hope yall won't put him in the safe room and say he's young etc... Don't want to hear about STATS nor his knowledge of the game. Just say Ryan has issues and were in trouble. No running game and no deep pass equals no playoffs.

I was watching the game and nearly threw my remote at my new HD TV when Elam missed that kick. We as fans have an emotional investment in this team and it hurts whenever they lose but, believe me when i say that brighter days are ahead of us. All they could talk about was Mike Vick this, Mike Vick that during the whole game and not about what was going on between the sidelines. The icing on the cake was once Stewart sealed the game they brought out the ethnic slurs. I've been to Carolina five different times for the Falcon's games and they bring out the racial stuff every year. And you wonder why they signed Jake to an extension? What makes it worse is when the Falcon's coaching staff and players don't plan and play their best and we lose the game.
dipper
This was my 4th trip to Carolina and for the last 3 years that walk up S.Graham has been awful.
SuperBowlnotforlong
I was also in attendance on Sunday and I don't think that I have ever been more disappointed/ angry leaving Bank of America Stadium, getting heckled and yelled at all the way to my car. I have never taken that much abuse before at a Falcons game in Charlotte. I was trying to talk as much s*** as I could, but there really wasn't much that I could say besides referring to the overall division standings. It seemed like the panther fans took out all of their frustration from the entire season on us Falcons fans at the game. It was miserable walking out of that stadium. This is sure to be a very long week. Please share your pain so that I know I am not alone in my anguish...
AutoMax
Isn't some of that part of the risk you take when going to away games though? It sucks, but no games are guarantees. I'm sure our fans give opposing fans some pretty good garbage when they leave our place with a loss too.

AtlFan1971
My friend and I went as well. I have 2 Matt Ryan Jerseys and I let him wear one so that we could show our support. Well I had plenty Panty fans all around me saying We love you Matt, thanks for handing us the game. I got this all the way to my car.I have heard Matt for the past few games while he has been going through this horrible stretch say, there are some things that we have to improve upon, yet I am not seeing him do it. I think we as true fans need to stand behind him, but I do ask everyone that is still supporting him and I am asking myself this question, when do you start to get concerned - are any of you concerned now - how long do you give him to continue playing this poorly? If you watched this game from your couch and did not go to the game, do not talk to me about not being a real fan. I love this team, my son loves this team, I am not happy when we lose and I am very happy when we win. If you sit around section 322 in the GA Dome you have probably heard me cheer and whistle as loud as I can. I bleed red simply because I am an Atlanta Falcon Fan. I had high hopes for this year and still do, I honestly hope Ryan will turn this around, but I am very worried about what I am seeing. Yesterday, in the stands, Panthers fans all around me had signs saying "Jake, Just Don't Blow It!" Yesterday, had Ryan Just Not Blown It, I truly believe we would have won. Ryan is my Quarterback, I think he could be our future, but when do we get concerned?
tazzee
Two road games with missed field goals and interceptions right when we're going to take the lead is heartbreaking. I was thinking of going to the Tampa game, but now I'm beginning to think the Falcons don't need this 12th (wo)man when they travel - I might be bad luck.I will admit - most of the Panther fans in our section were pretty cool. We didn't acknowledge the fans that only had something to say at the end of the game, but the ones that engaged in good hearted ribbing throughout the game sympathized with us. Section 253 will remember us and I'm going to try to get tickets in that section next year. That is, if I can get the missed FG/interception bad luck curse off me. AutoMax
Ryan is my Quarterback, I think he could be our future, but when do we get concerned? When we are no longer talking about a 2nd year QB with this kind of season. *shrug*
Warrior999
That is why I do not goto another team stadium. It is just not worth the trouble.
dipper
When you loose a game that should have been won is when it hurts. Yeah traveling with the team has its risk. "Trash Talk" has limits, once outside the stadium its over win or loose. Trying to support your team is rough.
FalconFanSince1970
excellent weekend until...I thought you were talking about the Georgia Sweep weekend. We had it right in our hands and the Falcons blew it:Tech BBall - wonGeorgia BBall - wonJackets - won divisionDawgs - wonThrashers - won twiceHawks - won twiceFalcons - lostI think it's time to get concerned but I don't think it's time to bench him. If he lays an egg in NY and we win Sunday I say he's still safe. If we lose because of his struggles then it may be time.

WTF is wrong with Jason Elam, i just had a sinking feeling in my stomach when we didn't go for it and saw him come on the field. I did how ever catch Ovie's glove running off the field. NCFalconfan
NFL games have turned into zoo's. I quit going years ago when it was apparent to me that people don't know how to act anymore.
