The problem of max protection

Recommended Posts

I can only advise, that you look over the last interception. Daryl Johnston said it before. Ryan does not have enough receivers out there. In this case, there were only two possible receivers. It was Jenkins and it was White. It has to be questioned, why Jenkins and White were almost at the same spot. And there was Ovie as checkdown. Of course Ryan cannot make this throw. That was a really bad decision. But he has no real option at this play to throw it away or to checkdown, but Ovie was also covered.

The best sequence in the game were as the falcons played more like a spread offense. But this max protection and only two receivers out is hurting the offense.
