lostnmexico
I kind of got going a little bit early, said Elam, who ranked 33rd of 36 NFL field goal kickers in percentage (64 percent) entering the game. He has now made 9 of 14, keeping him at 64 percent. My timing was just kind of a mess from the start. Its me. I need to take that blame. It seems like everything that can go wrong is going wrong for me. All I can control is how I prepare and my attitude and Im trying to claw and dig my way out of this thing. Its very unfortunate that it happened when it did. It certainly would have helped us out a lot if wed gotten that one.Not sure what to make of these comments but they speak volumesabout where Elam is right now. How about, "I need to make that kick" instead of "everything that can go wrong is going wrong for me."This can't be good. Statick
Well, at least he's taking the blame. If he misses another easy kick there aren't alot of people that will be too forgiving, me included.

falcons4life
Yikes, he is down on himself. Not a good sign.He manned up and took the blame but we need a change. If not now, then come seasons end.
GetUSom3
Owning it does not change it. 64% FG percentage is not acceptable. How can we expect to make the playoffs with someone that cannot produce the "easy" points? Seriously, we cannot afford to keep rolling the dice every game and hoping he makes the critical field goals. This guy is costing us wins and the move needs to be made NOW!
