lookout
To have a team and a QB capable of coming back from being down 17 points in the 4th quarter and beating a team like the pats and brady. I wonder what it's like to have a team that has won so many regular season games like the colts. I wonder what its like to have a team that even when you have a new head coach you go 9-0 and win games like that? God I watched that colts/pats game and thought this over and over, as I do every time I watch either of those teams play.Instead we give up games like today against the panthers. Depressing doesn't even begin to describe it. After suffering such a devistating and frustrating loss, again, and to watch such masterful play by manning (and brady as well), I can't help but feel even worse about today's loss. I wonder what it's like to not feel like this...like I have felt since the time I first started watching the falcons, just like I'm sure every one of you feel as well since you have been a fan. Sigh. And it's not just about him, it's about the entire team...and this is my main point which you obviously missed. I wonder what it's like to have a TEAM capable of doing what the colts did tonight and have been doing week in and week out for ages now. You will know soon buddy matt ryan will be great! Patience is the key! Maybe but he has to have a team around him capable of doing it. We have never had that team and I admit, I'm sick of seeing the same teams year in and year out winning no matter what circumstances change while we can't put two back to back winning seasons in four decades. And once again it's not just about ryan, which many are wanting to do. This is a team sport and in four decades we have not had a team capable of doing what the colts have done in our entire existence. Am I the only one that is sick of seeing the same teams every year be so successful while we, for whatever reason, can't? I'm in my 30s and I wonder if we will ever see the falcons reach that point. There are people who watched the falcons be born and surely thought to themselves they will see the falcons go all the way one day and have a great string of seasons. Many of those people are now dead. Think about that. So when we have chances to actually do something, it's just gut wrenchingly painful to watch us lose again..and again..and again. Meanwhile teams like the colts could probably play with only 6 people on the field and a janitor for a head coach and probably still make it to the playoffs. The season is far from over and I'm not saying it's over but cmon..how can you not get depressed after watching the colts and pats play and win like they do every year?
