falconcj21
Ryan lead the team from our 4yd line down the field to put us in a chance to take the lead and probably win the game. He lead us back from being down 11 at half. our defence stepped up in the 2nd half bigtime. Eeverything leading up to that field goal attempt in the second half was going great. now elams missed kick killed our momentum.and put pressure on everyone that we need a td not another fg attempt. also i thought i heard the tv guys say the panther pass def. at home was the best in the nfl giving up 106yds per game.ryan did have some bad passes and i think tends to throw the ball away to soon. i though the team stepped up when turner went down.big ups to snelling. the panthers are in our division and the nfc south usually don't lose at home.we gave the saints and panthers a run for there money. we beat ourselves but can be corrected starting with a kicker

Dharma Initiative
I know our kicker is absolutely horrible but the offense should be getting in the endzone more anyways.
Absolute
Playcalling in the redzone has been bad. Why did we do throw it on 1st and goal from the 1?I was actually surprised we ran it 3 times inside the 5 on our TD drive in the 4th. Dharma Initiative
agree totally but we have been in every game till the end this year except the patroit game i think. When you have Turner, Gonzalez, and Roddy your offense should score at least another TD every game. Those 3 are a much better trio than most offenses in the league. Everyone else on offense is at least average.
USS BABINEAUX
Ryan gift wrapped this game and didn't give the rest of his team a chance to win.
Jesus
agree totally but we have been in every game till the end this year except the patroit game i think. And DallasWe are a good team. Just missing on some things. Those same things we did right last year we are off on this year. Our D and Ryan put this team in a position to win and Elam flubbed it up.That's what football is all about.
TallDrink26
Its a good post. A falcon loss syncs everyones periods up on this board and they get all emotional and irrational
DemDirtyBirds4
Ryan gift wrapped this game and didn't give the rest of his team a chance to win.Yeah because getting in FG range to take the lead isnt giving the team a chance to win. DemDirtyBirds4
The 4th quarter is 15 minutes. Not 10.You have to take the lead to win right? If not how do you win?
rvrndzombii
i knew from before the snap that he was going to miss that FG.. something looked weird about the way he was either standing or twitching or something.. he kept doing something weird pre-snap..did anyone at the game see this? Basically, Elam called for the snap, the holder called for the snap, and the long snapper sat on it for a few seconds. They said Elam started twice before the ball even came out, and it basically ruined his timing. We have a new long snapper, so it makes sense. I don't put that on Elam. That's a failure on the center.

Elam wanted the snap at about two separate instances and was clearly caught off guard by the snap. Whole thing was jacked up.

boostjunkie
Yeah because getting in FG range to take the lead isnt giving the team a chance to win.Yep, a couple plays can make the entire outlook from the game different. And Elam missing what should be automatic FGs changes the game. I'm not sure what is wrong with the guy this year. Our defense that only shows up for 1/2 the game didn't help either. They only had one 3rd down stop in the whole 1st half, but then stumped Carolina the whole 2nd half until the letdown 3rd down TD after the Ryan INT.It is tough to have a complete game where all phases are executing well (like against the 49ers), but we need to not be hurting ourselves in several phases, whether it is turnovers, missed FGs, or a defense that shows up for 1/2 the game. I like that we put ourselves in a position to win in our last 2 loses, but we have to get over the hump and start coming out on the better end.
