Legendary08
It not just who is getting hurt, it is when they are getting hurt.Harry Douglas lost for the year was huge for our offense, Not only did our kick return game suffer but also Matt Ryan now has to relay on Michael(I Suck) Jenkins more and more and the result is more and more dropped passes and inteceptions that bounce off Jenkins skillet fingers. Now today we lose Michael Turner in the mist of having a career day, had he not been hurt he would have pushed for 200 yds today. The Atlanta Falcons franchise is Crused, Just face it, the Georgia Sports Curse is going to do everything in its power to ensure the Falcons do not have Back to Back Winning seasons.Harry Douglas..........Out for YearPeria Jerry............Out For YearBrain Williams.........Out for YearWilliam Moore...........Injured Jerious Norwood.........InjuredSam Baker...............InjuredMichael Turner..........InjuredThese are all Starters or key players and each one has hurt our chances this year at the worst possible times. insight
Harry Douglas was never a BIG contributor. Yes he is missed and he had potential but we are not talking about Wes Welker production.Plus, we added Tony G, who is a huge offense weapon. BackForThe2ndTime
HD was a big contributer. He was our 2nd best WR and he was a great threat in the slot. His role would have only got bigger this year.
Thelonious Mingus
You are overestimating Harry Douglas' lost. Would his presence make Ryan pass better?

Yeah, he did contribute to an extent, but NOT what some people are saying.
muskokas finest ©
Douglas was just the start...but if Ryan can't succeed with White and Gonzalez, then somethingis really wrong
BackForThe2ndTime
HD's role was expanding week by week last year. He was a better WR then Jenkins IMO and had a bigger role on our team.

How does that translate to the 2nd best WR?FYI Jerious Norwood has 340 receiving yards last year.

I think he is just thinking about training camp. Training camp is not regular season...HD did about nothing great last year

BackForThe2ndTime
Jenkins has 780 receiving yards, Douglas production was no where close to that.I'm not talking stats. I'm talking about what we watched him do. He is a more talented WR then Jenkins and showed that last year. He was newer to the team so his role just hadn't expanded much yet.
