Peyton
During the Cowboys game. The officials botched it on the field and in the replay booth. Then they made it worse by call it unreviewable, even though it was obvious what happened.I'm glad it didn't happen to the Falcons, this board would have gotten blown up.By the way, the Cowboys are getting destroyed by the mediocre Packers. Shut out even. It's tough in the NFL.

Peyton
are you trying to prove a point? With the last comment? Yeah I am. People act like this Falcons team is so talented that we should go out there and roll a team like the Panthers, and the truth is that every team in this league can beat you.The Rams were one completion away from beating the Saints today. The Packers are shutting out the Cowboys. Everybody can play, and the Falcons are going to struggle to beat most teams with as many injuries as they have. People just need a dose of reality at this point.

It was obvious on the field that the RB had the ball for a sec, that didn't need review, they only needed to review it to see if was down.Either way, that is a rule that needs to be fixed. I hate the Cowboys but they got completely robbed.

HOWEVER, I did expect our offense to win us games and be top 5 in the league no questions asked. Obviously, we have looked very "eh", so if this offense does not get going, we are not gonna improve. They might not have been starters, but they were important situational players, especially on 3rd down.
MattIceRyanMVP2
I do not know about the worst call in NFL history, but it was terrible. The worst by far was the "Tuck Rule" game with the Pats vs. Raiders. The worst call EVER!

They might not have been starters, but they were important situational players, especially on 3rd down. There is still no excuse for the past three weeks. Turner has ran EXTREMELY well the past three weeks and that should set up the pass with ease IMO. The past three weeks can be partly blamed on Ryan's very mediocre play, but I don't doubt him and still have full trust.
=abrahamburger=
Well, the call on McClure was questionable in our game. Then Svitek gets hit with a holding call and, for the life of me, I don't see how arms-in pass-blocking can be contrived as holding when he was chest to chest with the guy and never turned him.Bad calls happen. The Falcons didn't overcome that one.

I think the Falcons are still tied for the Wild Card even with the loss. But I agree with your point, sort of, I've accepted that this team is not a Super Bowl contender. Too many holes. I suspect they are still going to try their best though.
Falcons_own_nfc_south
There's no reason to start the panic button yet.. I"m looking for Winning Season before I wish for playoff...Having a winning season would be the bigger accomplishment for this franchise than getting in the playoff.. If we get in the playoff OMG... 2 Playoff in the row...Giants game is a must win game for tie-breaker.. It would have been nice if we had won today but it's not the end of world.. GetUSom3
5-11, so much for breaking the 2 consecutive winning seasons fiasco. So angry with this team I cannot even put it into words.
Peyton
OK, I was wrong, there was a booth review with an even worse result in the Tampa Bay game right before halftime. The officials are not having a good season. You guys have to make sure you catch this on NFL network. If I was Raheem Morris, I think I would have killed somebody. Can't wait to see Mike Periera try and explain this one.

They really need to do something about the refs..... its getting to the point their decisions are the difference in football games, and not the players.
