nobkowski
Elam - I've given up on Elam. He is old and this will more than likley be his last year. I'm not too mad at himcause of his age. But if we don't get b2b winning seasons, I will be mad enough to strangle him.Ryan - Ryan is young. I haven't given up on him. Not by a long shot. But the excuses for him need to stop. He was looking like Joey Harrington the whole first half. The last interception is inexcusable, there was plenty of time left. Like I said to begin with, he is young and can pull out of it. I hope to God he does. The Team - I love the Falcons. No matter what. The team was in it till the end. They don't quit. So many teams in the past would give up. This team don't quit. Falc_Fan_Since_Six
Elam has disappointed me more than just about anyone this year. Time for him to retire. As far as Ryan, Matt is a second year QB. People forget that, and second year QB's make mistakes that cost games. That's not an excuse for him, it's just fact.Everyone got spoiled by how well he did his first year. These are just growing pains, he will work through them and be better for them in the long run. I will always love the Falcons and this season is far from over. I'm upset we lost today to what I consider a very beatable opponent but I have confidence that Smitty will get us back on the right track. We now return you to your regular "sky is falling" "Ryan sucks" programming.
