Take It Inmates

Hated just about everything about this game.....Turner looked so good while he was in there. Ryan's really pressing right now. He's not seeing the field well at all, forcing the ball into double and triple coverage when you know that has to be leaving someone else open. He's doing something consistently now that he did very little of last year.....making bad reads.

I'm seriously thinking of putting out an Amber Alert on John Abraham. Is he still a Falcon?

Putrid loss......and I didn't even mention Jason Elam. That's because my grandmother once told me that if you didn't have anything nice to say about someone don't say anything.

At least we're getting a clearer picture of where we're going to need help in the offseason.

Amen, wish they would give extra negative points after losses.

First bad loss of the Smith regime.

Bad game...bad streak of games. No doubt about that.

Matt Ryan is going through a really bad streach right now, but then what successful QB hasn't. If he is who I think he is, then he will work through it and be a better QB on the other side. I'm dissapointed sure, but I'm still in Matts' corner.

Much of what I just said also goes for Coach Smith. Even Lombardi had losing streaks.

Van Gorder...I'm still weighing my opinions there. Perhaps it's not so much his scheme but the quality of personel on the field.

We have no depth a some critical positions.

In every relationship there are rough spots, in mine; with the Falcons; this isn't even worth a second thought. I see a young team going through some growing pains, learning to win isn't always a smooth transition.

Even disappointed, I'll sleep well tonight knowing that Matt, Mike and the rest of the team will make every effort to correct their problems...as much as they can correct them in the middle of the season. Next Sunday I'll have my #2 jersey on and be just as ready to cheer MY team on as I was today.

Run with it nutjobs.

It's your board for the next few days. Start your "Let's Get Vick Back" threads.

Wow the other rocket scientists with your "Fire Smitty" diatribes.

Talk to others like yourself whose I.Q.s hover dangerously close to your shoe sizes.

Enjoy.

Yep, the nuts have definitely taken over the nuthouse.

My 3 main concerns are

1.) Horrible Run Defense

2.) Turnovers and Bad Reads by Ryan

3.) The only connection I saw jason Elam make today was when he was picking his nose on the sideline after missing the chip shot field goal.....He should be released tomorrow.

1 - Seems we have a D line with Matador syndrome........... Ole`

2 - ATL lost by 9 points. CAR points off turnovers = 14. Stand by while I get my calculator.

3 - It wasn't just that he missed. It was a 12' high kick that only went about 20 yds. And that's not the first one that he's kicked like that. I think ATL got Elam's last quality season................last year.

P.S. (4) - Pressure on Delhomme = 0
