savage77 Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 I just want to say first off i have been a supporter of all phases of this team throughout the season. But now it is time to vent frustrations now. We are a horrible team, i sadly am now realizing that. Outside of turner our offense can barely move the ball for some reason. Ryan needs to have a gut check now. We might as well not even put a defense on the field. Our run defense is horrible, the pass defense is horrible. I do not know where to go from here. We needed this win today and as of now the playoffs are no longer in the picture it appears unless maybe the eagles lose to san diego. Without turner we cant win in new york and we could very well be left out at the end of season. Oh and one more thing..... Jason Elam was so last year. He is gone by seasons end. We had one star on our Defensive coming into this season. Abraham, who has been non-existent, sure loften and decoud are pleasent suprises. But everywhere else we stink. then they go get our hopes up by playing great in several games this season, and then tonight, again, a non-factor, where other teams were ripping delhomme to peices we make him look like a **** good QB. What is going on with the defensive play calling? Its a fact of life, like grass is green, the sky is blue, and if you bring pressure on Jake he crumbles, i didnt see us blitz once. ( ok i listen via streaming audio so didnt hear us blitz once)Offensively i was concerned throwing us in there with the powerhouse offensives of Indy and NE and NO at the beginging of the season and now we can see why. I originally belived it was Mularkeys play calling that was leaving us high and dry, but after seeing the way Ryan has been throwing the football over the last couple of weeks, maybe i was wrong. I belive they might have lost some confidence in him, hence no down field throws or deep ball attempts. Its ver disturbing either way, that with all these "weapons" we still cant consistently put up big numbers, let alone prevail in clutch situations.Jason Elam has worn out his welcome in the ATL, you just cant miss 34yarders for the lead against division rivals at their house. Period. VENT VENT VENT...Falcons Fan Forever. But starting to become disilusioned with this team and the expectations attached, lets maybe lower the bar a bit. He is about a 10-15 yard route runner and that is it. although he does need to work on his hands but i still think a solid number two guy. that is why he is number two and not number one. He can't even get open on 10-15 yard routes. he's one fo the worst starting WR's in the league yet people think he's solid? do y'all watch other NFL teams play? Where is booker?
