PITIFUL. jenkins lost the game not matt ryan. he threw the ball in the perfect spot but Jenkins cut the post like 2 yards short if he ran it right he catches it (or at least tips it out of the way) and if Elam makes the field goal, none of this happens... again pitiful.

Yes, lets blame Jenkins for Matt Ryan throwing high into double coverage when there was no need to force it . . .

Very tough loss... However, many of us supported this team through the worst of the worst, so, even though this is very disappointing, it is nice to able to compete. This team is still going to have a winning season.

Matt is not showing the confidence that made him offensive rookie of the year last season. Mularkey's predictable play-calling isn't helping him much either. Let's hope that they get it together next week.

I just do not understand some of the play calling. Where is the pressure on Jake? It seems that since the half of the last game the falcons just havent played football. Maybe next week will be different but i dont believe it will be. I will be in the stands for the Tampa game and will continue to pull for the Falcons but its times like this that it makes me wonder why.

Mike Smith is an idiot. The challenged play wasnt even close to a first. Blank should have a coach whose sole responsibility is to determine whether to challenge because Smith is a friggin first class emotional idiot. He has continually traded valuable timeouts for non sensical challenges. Also the play calling , especially before the Turner injury, was a joke. Why were we throwing so much on 1st? Turner was mowing them over but we kept throwing early. Ryan looks awful. He is completely inaccurate last few games. I guess he'll make a good backup once he sheds the big contract somewhere. Atlanta will be lucky to be 8-8. I guess I should be happy that this team won 5 games this year.

That's it i've been a Falcon fan since 1969 and here we go again, they won't get 2 winning seasons in a row. How many years have the Falcons been at or near the bottom in pass defense they flat out suck, they've had enough off-seasons to fix this ********, and the kicking game if all i had to do as a kicker is kick field goals i'd be the **** best there is this kicker sux about like Prater did in his few weeks with the Falcons, get rid of the non kicking flop count the losses as we did with Vick and go get a **** kicker. As for Mike Smith you are starting to act like Mora, not making the players work in pads because they are a little banged up, please go tell that to the guy's in Iraq who have to wear their gear hurt or not, come on guys you are playing like a bunch of pansies and the record is starting to show it. I am so sick of this **** year in year out. My patience is gone I've been hoping and hoping since 1969 only to have the same frustrations year in year out. As for the offense please...Elite my ***, they come out running get it going and then pass the next 3 plays and then punt who the **** is calling these stupid plays, grandma calls plays better than that and grandma is old. Todays game showed me at least two areas of concern. The defense did not put enough pressure on the opposing QB and the zone defense was not effective.
