Chitown2ATL_Falcon
Was Ovie being out, the reason for the decline of our running game in the last couple of games before the Saints game? Would like your opinion!
ConnFalcon
I beleive the FB is the most underated position in football. I think him Ovie coming back DID have something to do with Turner's good game, but not all. The O-line finally created some holes, and Turner was alot more aggressive that he has been. Finally
I beleive the FB is the most underated position in football. I think him Ovie coming back DID have something to do with Turner's good game, but not all. The O-line finally created some holes, and Turner was alot more aggressive that he has been.I think that people believing that we were struggling running the ball helped too. They focused more on stopping Ryan. It is not the worse thing to be seen as a team that struggles to run the ball when you have Turner still around. Toronto_Dirty_Bird
Ovie was a big factor, but not the main. He did however, provide some great blocks in the Saints game. Check it out again if you can, the second Ovie made a block, Turner was right there blasting through that hole.
~SEAMILL~
I said the Saints run defense was the "worst" we played all season, even before the game. Not that they are terrible, but I felt the other run defenses were better. Hopefully it gives us confidense moving forward.
atljbo
Ovie is a very big factor..... No disrespect but i saw Haynes whiff n some blocks when Ovie was out..... Since the run game is so important to our Offense... Ovie is important
ATL Fan in the DMV
Again, we struggled running the ball even when Ovie was starting this year. Hopefully we continue running the ball well now that we face more 4-3 defenses.
AtlantaFalconPokerPro
Was Ovie being out, the reason for the decline of our running game in the last couple of games before the Saints game? Would like your opinion!its because turner is at his best against a 4-3 defense, and suffers against 3-4 defenses.
