justcs3
That's it. In a nutshell, when Brees, who was not all that last night, needed his receivers to adjust to the ball. When he needed them to bail him out. When they needed 3rd down conversions, they were there. We can blame Jenkins and company. Even some wants to blame Ryan, though 2 int's were from either a pick, an illegal play, or a deflection. They made plays and we didn't.And the refs didn't call dang near anything against the Saints. And Peterson did not hold Bush, that was chicken junk.Whoosah!!!!

rounz
I ain't putting this all on the receivers--you guys didn't like it when we used that excuse for Vick, and it's not flying today.

I think not.

I think not.Brees isn't actually hitting his receivers in stride everytime lol he actually rarely does that. He throws it in their vicinity and trusts them to make a play. Roddy can do that, Tony can do that. There's no hope for Jenkins. When Robinson was here if the ball was anywhere near him please believe he was bringing that ball in. That's why we need to go out and find another young WR the same way we found Laurent.

freakyfalcon
I wish Jenkins was half the receiver Colston is. Colston will go up and get the ball. Jenkins act like a pretty boy out there.
MilleniumFalcon
You saw all the Saints receivers going up and making plays, but Brees threw it to the place where only the Saints WR could catch it. I don't know if Ryan has that trust with his receivers yet. He might have it with Tony Gonzalez and Roddy White but not the rest.

cwell1
And you're in pure football?what does that have to do with anything? It's the truth. Jenkins plays soft, always has. Once he catches the ball he braces himself for the hit and doesn't try to get extra yards.
