Mr. Right
One of the criticisms of Matt Ryan and the offense in the past few weeks is a lack of the deep pass. We all know Michael Jenkins and Roddy White have the speed to get down field, but we have yet to see the ball actually go down field. Could this be the result not of poor coaching, but Ryan's lack of arm strength? Most NFL QBs could have made that throw at then end of the game to the endzone but Ryan's hail mary came 10 yards short. Joey Harrington also had the same problems and he ran the 'dink' and 'dunk' offense to perfection.Other things to note:-Michael Jenkins has regressed and should be cut next year. He has drop numerous crucial passes in our losses. Because of this, we should look for another receiver in the draft. Trading Robinson away may have been an unforeseen mistake unless Douglas can become the number 2 WR.-Matty 'Ice-Cold' is returning to his old self in Boston College by throwing picks and getting sacked. What happened to the Matt Ryan of the first few games where he threw the ball away instead of holding it for too long? Matt Ryan looks more like a rookie Mark Sanchez than the quick releasing Peyton Manning. Numerous times, Matty 'Ice-Cold' had the opportunity to throw the ball away or at the RBs feet, and he decided to take a sack. This is another typical Joey Harrington maneuver.-Oh and the refs were fair in this game. Edited November 3, 2009 by Mr. Right

falcons4life
Guess you were in the bathroom when Ryan threw that bomb to White for a TD.Ryan CAN get it downfield but:A) Has an OL that in the last two games have been playing like Matadors.B. He seems a bit tentative to throw deep when there is a hint of tight coverage. The White pass was one on one coverage and he threw it. Anything close to a double coverage and he goes underneath.Watching tape and getting some confidence back will fix this.....if his OL gives him the time. derrty bird
If anything is stupid, it's Michael Jenkins getting paid to drop balls and Ryan getting sacked more and more.i think jenkins dropping easy passes had something to do with Ryan being a bit tentative and not trying to make a playbut i think he is just scared to risk squeezing the ball into coverage for fear of an interceptioni hope he gets over it and lights it up next week

Andre5000
Sounds like another disgruntled Vick fan venting his frustrations about Mike being a clipboard holder in Philly.
goatehall
If anything is stupid, it's Michael Jenkins getting paid to drop balls and Ryan getting sacked more and more.Seems like he may have gotten complacent after he got that new contract. Doesn't seem to be playing with the same intensity and focus of last season.
