falconsd56
I should revise what I said.......Kolb and Henne will be good qbs I think.........They just don't have the experience.
504boy
That will be answered monday night.Do qbs play safety ?? No but they can put their defense in bad situations....... case in point this past sundays game against the dolphins. Brees turned the ball over 3 teams that gave the dolphins great field position, which lead to most of the dolphins points. You dont think atleast PART of the success in take aways is not attributed to inexperience to the opposing team??When you play rookies and guys with not alot of experience they agoing ot make throws that a vetern qb would not make........... Take the Jet game, two of those picks the saints had, were BAD decisions by Sanchez. They were throws a more experienced guy would not make... And yes I know veterans throw ints too, however you look at a guy 6 years in the league vs 2 years in the league and typically the guy 6 years in is going ot have far fewer turn overs. The saints secondary has made some GREAT plays on the ball.......... but to totally deny the fact inexperience by the guy throwing it shows pure homerness/ignorance.This. And they will continue to make great plays on the ball, including monday night
falconsd56
This. And they will continue to make great plays on the ball, including monday night If the falcons turn the ball over like they have over the last couple of games due to turner not holding on and a couple of "wtf are you thinking" throws by ryan.. I agreebut If we can play turn over free we have a much better chance then you saint fans want to give us.
nolafan33
Do you not find it odd that none of those QBs looked bad until they played the Saints? Curious at all?We held Manning to a 61 PR, so I don't know about all this "inexperienced" crap.

Oh and don't forget, the Falcons has to play those same teams too so get your excuses ready.also I find it interesting that NONE of you saints fans have debunked anything I have stated about the competition...... funy how that works huh?all I see is that im whining or making excuses yet NONE OF YOU SOBS have tried to debunk the fact that of the 6 starts you have played 4 had a combined EIGHT STARTS ......nor have you even attempted to debunk that fact that the Saints defense has feasted on mistakes that probably would not be made by a player with more experience........... I have given the saints credit where credit was due for that... they have made those mistakes turn into points which is something not a lot of teams can say....... how ever it does not negate the point that someone more experienced would not make at least some of the decisions those players have made. ie throwing the ball into double coverage..... holding the ball too long and taking a sack etc etc None of you have ever even attempted to debunk the actual fact based argument........ you want to know why??because you cant skew it like you can any sort of stat argument. SaintK
A ridiculous statement. Blah, blah, blah, fact is we held the wildcat in check...I agree with the latter part of your comment though.we held the wildcat in check. Its the one power run from a base formation that got 68 yards.
bradael
You didn't handle their run formations well at all, there was confusion and to many 3rd down conversions. I'm not hatin' I'm just sayin'? Coming back like from a 21 point deficit is very impressive and I called it. I was telling a friend I was watching it with, that when you got the turnover right before half I said the saints would win...we bet I won, but I didn't take the money! They averaged less than 2.4 yards a carry aside from one run where Vilma was being held by the neck and arm. Including that run, they still averaged half a yard less per carry than the Saints did. This was the league's best rush offense going into the game. And just like everyone else the Saints have played this year, they weren't the best when leaving the game.As for the third down conversions... well the first one was an incomplete pass ruled complete but the "review malfunctioned". They had three third down conversions by running the ball... two third and ones, one third and two. The rest were by passing the ball.I should also mention that the Saints had over 33 minutes of time of possession... the first team to lead ToP against the Dolphins. Everyone seemed to say that the Saints might only get 20 minutes of ToP heading into the game for some dumb reason. Saints had two defensive touchdowns, so ToP might have been even more in the Saints' favor if not for that.

Big Bubba
Their defense may have peaked too early.. their offense, I don't believe it has. Brees is coming off a 5000+ yard season and the Saints as a whole had the #1 offense last year, so they can go heavy on the offense all year. Assuming their defense, even if it drops off production, won't be nearly as bad as it was last year when most of their players were injured, the Saints will probably still prove to be a very strong team. I think the Saints will beat the Falcons in a convincing fashion. I hope anyway. I may dislike the Saints, but I freakin hate the Falcons.

The guy came in against a DIVISION RIVAL and drove down the field with less than 2 minutes and won the game. Chad doesnt win that game!!!!!!YES i am saying that Henne is better than Pennington.
