atlanta greatest city Ÿ
I didnt see this mentioned. Anyone think this was a factor in the game? I think the drive that Smitty was complaining about it we actually scored.

I think the drive that Smitty was complaining about it we actually scored.I dont think it really was a big difference maker, I did find it curious that Smith asked for the blinds to be drawn and they didnt do it.and let me say, what a stupid stadium, first they put that tv screen low enough for punts to hit it, next they put all glass at the ends of the stadium, in a place like Dallas which doesnt exactly have Seattle like weather, at a time when the sun is going to shine right in the teams eyes, dumb.... NewFalcon
Sunlight???Did the Falcons suddenly become Vampires?4 sacks and extreme pressure on our QB, three fumbles, two INT's, an ineffective running game that forced Matt Ryan to try and carry too much of the load, and a secondary that continues to be a disappointment might be better excuses for the loss. Other contributing factors include: playing the 3rd toughest schedule in the NFL and facing a consecutive streak of teams coming off of a bye-week presents a strong challenge that we had actually handled pretty well up to this game.Give Dallas and Romo some credit also: they made plays and we didn't. (Note: I DETEST the Cowboys but they did execute much better than the Falcons yesterday.)
atlanta greatest city Ÿ
Come on dude. I didnt say Dallas didnt play well. Or any of that. I just asked if you thought it had any effect on the game. You obviously didnt read it or just bypassed when I said that it DID NOT have an effect. Although I do think that it is the craziest stadium ever built.
slamee101
If the sunlight affected them like this...they need to donate their game checks this week. No, I don't think it did.
Mr. Right
If sunlight affected them, we should forfeit all our road games to teams that play outside.
Flip Wilson
It affected us on one play for sure.
ConnFalcon
It affected us on one play for sure.Yea I noticed one play it MAY have... But I won't make excuses. We got punched in the mouth, and kicked when we were down.
FalconMama
Both teams had to deal with the sunlight factor at some point in the game.

That's called home field advantage.
War Damn Eagle
Without a doubt it did affect the team but it was only for maybe 1 series. At the time, I thought it was just bad luck because the sun really only came through for a short time and it happened to be when the Falcons had the ball.
