ConnFalcon
You can't really expect anything less when you go to another teams forum. They are going to talk their team up all day long. The only thing that is laughable is the poster that says "Ryan doesn't impress me". Well, he clearly has poor football knowledge. Dallas is not as good at home as Chicago is on the road. Stop drinking the national media cool-aid. Falcons win this one by 2TDs+. FYI - We have already met fan for other team with all the knowledge of the football gods and then they have nothing to say after we beat them. The only fans not to be obnoxious here were the Pats fans, and they won. Yeah I said 2TDs. Edited October 20, 2009 by cocktailcove

dsgbncali
this is what gets me about going to other msg boards and viewing their comments. I think we as Falcon fans temper our excitement b/c of our franchises history we're more realistic then other fans. We know we have a good team and yet most of the comments made by us seems more realistic then those blindly loyal fans who think their team should be given a SB this early in the season. we are an up and coming franchise and I feel that hows we approach each week. unlike say... the Cowboys who, even after the season they have had so far, really believe we're a below average team. I hope this week we can play as well as we did against the Bears.

Herr Doktor
I miss the good old days on this board when the Bucs were relavent. At least the Bucs fans were fun, and we all had a good laugh! And I miss the Eagles fans, they used to be a hoot as well. They don't make trolls like they used to.

nativefalcon
The Cowboys fans are sounding a lot like the Niners fans did before we waxed them. We'll thats the nature of fans, even though, the cowboys even with Brooking BARELY beat the chiefs, it was not a slam dunk they had to go to overtime and the chiefs just plain suck. I think the Cowblys are a decent team but they have problems.
norbendon
I'm not at all impressed by the Cowgirl defense. They have the human turnover machine playing QB. They are overall, an extremely talented team, but very undisciplined which I think is going to be the big difference between them and us this Sunday. I have strong feeling that their lack of discipline in all phases of the game will do them in. That's something that we've been excellent at under Mike Smith. We are a very disciplined team that always finds ways to outwill the opponent and force them into mistakes.
FalcsForLife
Why shouldn't they after that whoopin the put on the mighty Chiefs in their last game.No doubt that the Cowboys have taken a step back....they aren't nearly as good as the team we just beat. The Cowboys are riding high off of their close win in overtime against the lowly Chiefs. Couldn't move the ball aginst the chiefs but they all think they are gonna put up a lot of points. jm_falcons
Neither team will have an easy time of it. Below is my thinking....some of it is non-factual and is my opinion but here goes...Why Falcons could win? The teams we have beaten have won a combined 10 games. Dallas has beaten teams that have only won a combined 3 games. Falcons' D is ranked #1 in the NFC in points allowed. The offensive fire power that the Falcons have is easily equal to that of Dallas. Falcons have one of the top ST units. IMO...Smith is a much better coach than Phillips. I dont think Phillips will be able to solve the Falcons red zone D. Falcons point differential is better and there schedule is equally as tough as Dallas'. Dallas had a close loss to the Giants who suffered a beat down by the Saints. Not so sure that the Giants are all that great. Why Dallas could win? T Romo is the best qb the Falcons have faced since Brady and he may be able to solve the Falcons red zone D. Dallas is at home and coming off a bye. Dallas's 2 losses were only by a combined 8 pts and were to 2 good football teams(still not sure about nyg though). The loss of Atlanta's B Williams could be costly....especially against a qb like Romo. If Norwood does not play that is one less weapon for Ryan.Overall...I like the falcons in this one...30-27. That matches the most haunting defeat I have ever known. It came at the hands of Dallas in 1980.Dallas is the team I dislike the most and I always will.
