Magic Man 1,429
This sucks, but is not the end of the world. When he came down last night, I was saying..."Please don't be hurt, please don't be hurt." Then, as it became apparent that he was, it became "please don't be serious, please don't be serious." KRUNKuno 9,176
yea, you could tell when he went down. It wasn't pretty. That is tough for us as he was a huge bright spot in our seconday. I wish him a full recovery. This is going to truly show what our secondary is made of.

insight 1,781
Every indication from the coaching staff points to the fact that Tye Hill is not very good. He has not been activated for a game yet some people think he is going to come in and become a shutdown corner.
bossFALCON™ 2,177
where the **** is chris owens?i like chris owens in the long term, but i do not want to see a 5'9 3rd round rookie out of san jose state trying to cover roy williams or marques colston. hill or chevis will be stepping in most likely. we may see a trade, but i doubt it. Ghost Rider 212
I knew it. The way his knee shifted when it hit the ground I knew it wasn't going to be good news. This sucks but he wasn't a world beater but he was the best we had. Hill needs to get his act together and play. We need him now.

Jaymadd 2,309
Let Houston, Hill, Jackson battle it out for the LCB spot and NB spot and call it a day. I think that Williams had some impact plays, but dude gave up his fair share of big plays too especailly on deep passes.
TheEndzoneAnalyst 22
Time to see Hill get some time on the field. It has been long enough for him to learn the system!
Dem Birds 10,467
Hill better be ready because he's going to be playing, I'd think.I'm not completely concerned about Chevis, sure he didn't look that good last night coming off the bench and getting his first real action of the season. But if he's in there consistently, I'm sure he'd get better and better, like DeCoud has.

I have faith in TD. Every one of his FA signings have made a great impact on D this year.
FalcoChicquera 273
Real shame as he had been great so far this year. Hope he can recover down the road and he is not done for good.Houston, Grimes, Jackson, Owens, Hill - can't say it's the most attractive depth chart but barring a miracle we'll have to go with it. D-Line needs to bring its A-Game starting now.
Atlchamp99 269
Falcons CB Brian Williams is out for the year after tearing his ACL in Sunday's win over the Bears, according to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com.It's a big blow to the Falcons' defense. Williams went up with Greg Olsen on a late-game fade pattern but came down very awkwardly on his leg. Williams will likely be replaced by second-year man Chevis Jackson. We will be fine.. difference in the 2 is that Chevy got more PT last season than DeCoud.

The_ATL 167
We already made a deal for Tye Hill. This is the same as last year when Foxworth finally came in due to an injury to Brent Grimes. I expect Tye Hill to come in and make us forget Williams ever existed. It is sad though because he was making some big time plays for us. The D as a unit looks so much faster, even compared to the beginning of the season. I think everyone is starting to get comfortable in the scheme. You expect a guy who isn't even getting snaps because the coaching staff doesn't think he is ready to make us forget about our best DB?Talk about wishful thinking. ATL Falcons/STL Cards 2
As soon as he landed I thought "there goes his acl". I wish I was wrong. This really sucks. Hopefully tye hill isn't a complete bust. Maybe it's time for chevis to step up.

falcndave 4,718
Last night was fairly brutal overall on the injury front. We need to get comfortable with not resigning Norwood and pick out the speed/pass catching back we can pick up in the draft or through free agency. I like Snelling as a solid option to back up Turners role for years.
