Norwood all the way!
If Jerry Hasnt been injured, i dont think we will see the Jammal that we're seeing tonight, not saying Jerry being injured was a good thing, it just sometimes good things comes out of bad things.i guess thats something to think about. if Jerry hadnt been injured then the coaching staff would be less inclined to put Anderson in at DT. but maybe not....we all know he wasnt doing much at DE so i think they would have put him in at DT eventually. Lord Dark Helmet
Jamaal was amazing against the Bears. Those TWO tackles were so awesome, and the rest of the ZEROS in the stat line prove he is the best. I mean, how many sacks did he have, 12? Or was it 13? Wow. Lord Dark Helmet
There is no debate. He is no longer a DE...in my eyes. He's a monster of a NT...I just don't see it. He did nothing. 2 tackles and NOTHING else. Same as last week. The Falcons can get that production from a practice squad DT.

The Falcons can get that production from a practice squad DT.He did what NT's do. Absorbed the blockers, got penetration, caused disruption. When I personally hear that about a DE...I'm like "Hnnn?" When it comes to a NT, I have a different type of thought. I like how he played the position, it was pretty good. He also did something that I had never seen him do, show emotion. He didn't seem lost. I honestly believe that if he didn't impress you with tonight's performance, he will very soon.
KANE337
Go back and watch the game again. Just focus on JA98. He played a dayum good game. Edited October 19, 2009 by KANE337

The Falcons can get that production from a practice squad DT.It's not all about the stats, it's about making an impact and tonight JA98 did that. He was in the mix on a lot of plays. Just because he didn't have 10 tackles and 5 sacks does not mean he didn't play well. You actually have to watch him play and not just look at the stat sheet when the game is over. I've been down on JA98 for a while but now I have hope for him and I really hope he keeps this going. Hey idiot if we could get that kind of production from a practice squad DT don't you think he would no longer be a practice squad DT or are you just that stupid. Edited October 19, 2009 by falcons faithful

804_Falconfan
This is not a true statement. Houston plays on the right side and Grimes on the left side. They never switch sides so this can't be a true statement because they both cover the other teams WRs depending on which side they line up at. Tonight, they both had chances to cover Knox and Hester.Ok. I thought the DC was purposely trying to have Grimes line up against Hester later in the game. My mistake. Ghost Rider
Ok. I thought the DC was purposely trying to have Grimes line up against Hester later in the game. My mistake. Not unless I missed it. Not sure now. lol. I don't think so though. Personally, I would have but i never seen Houston or Williams leave the right side other than nickel packages which I don't think we played much of. rounz
I could have sworn early in the game they were talking about Grimes on the left. Then a couple of plays (or maybe a series later) they commented that Houston was now over thereBut later Houston was back on the rightIt could be the announcers got the defender wrong Edited October 19, 2009 by rounz

They were saying we chose to start Grimes over Houston (when Houston has never been our LCB). We actually started Williams over Houston. Then in nickel defense, we always slide Williams inside and let Houston play outside at RCB. The announcers saw Houston in the game and acted like we made a switch between him and Grimes. TymeFalcon
He looks good against the run if we can just use him for that more then rushing the pass maybe our line can do like last night more. jerry out was big

The Falcons can get that production from a practice squad DT.Don't forget the 2 pass deflections... One of them to seal the game. And the constant collapsing of the pocket... he even got VERY close to the QB several times. Also, there's no way you can't see his effort.Just lay low for a few games, if he completely falls off and turns out to be a 2-game-fluke DT, then we can simmer down, if not, you need to make a thread about how you're eating some crow.
