atljbo
Yoooo... I was getting so pissed off..... The Refs never called holding...... Dude almost held Abe every other play.
Osiruz
Yeah the holding call on Dahl is utter and blatant cheating by these moron chicago bears refs. How is that one a hold, but Pace Headlocking and tackling Abraham not a hold???Abe is getting Held way too often not to get calls his way, he is a star player and we need to ramify this crap. falcoatlantae
I heard that Orlando Pace chartered a private jet back to Chicago, but it hasn't landed yet. It's in a holding pattern.

k-train
Normally, I let this stuff go, because we usually get away with a few non calls, too. However, Pace really was holding the entire game and not called once. I swear I saw him try to put a sleeper hold on Abe a few times and then just outright tackling him. mozzie71
i have no problem with the Houston PI... but holding has been driving me crazy since the Pats game... Its beyond a joke.. and then Dahl gets called for a phantom hold... GTFOOH

Bring It
Do teams have ANY kind of recourse with the league with this sick level of officiating ???
pr0d1gy
Do teams have ANY kind of recourse with the league with this sick level of officiating ???Not really, if you complain then the league likes you less because you're not " a company man " so to speak. Also the refs will punish you for exposing them as well. Does this really surprise any of you at this point? An NBA ref publicly admitted to cheating and fixing playoff games recently and nobody even really gave a crap. Remember when something like that almost killed baseball? This country is nothing more than an entertainment glutton and is willing to overlook the obviously shady dealings of our "sports leagues" as long as we're getting our entertainment from it. Sad, really....

Sad, really....There used to be a ref who HATED Glanville (I can't remember his name right now), and I swear he would take every opportunity to go against the Falcons. AutoMax
This IS an issue that needs to be confronted sooner or later. Refs are making game changing calls almost every week it seems. They are not consistent at all. I'm glad that I'm not the only noticing the Pace holding reality show. JC Falcon
I think they need to send in Dahl at DE for a couple of plays against Flozell Adams. He can be our "enforcer" player.Perhaps this has become the 'no call' like travelling in basketball, but I am confused about holding:You cannot get your arms outside the body/shoulder of a guy, or grab his arm/jersey to hold him. This is a serious question: can you put his helmet in your armpit and wrap him up? I guess that is legal since it is inside the shoulders? I'm glad that I'm not the only noticing the Pace holding reality show. They are no longer satisfied simply officiating games, they now want to control the outcome of games. HUGE difference. They are like the News media in America today who no longer are satisfied to just REPORT the news, they now want to CREATE the news. Sad, really....I'm sure I'm in some kind of minority, but I've gotten to the point where I don't care that much about pro sports anymore because of how much the refs determine the outcomes of games; the Pats had a 13th man in the zebras. I'm convinced a lot of this crap happens in MLB, too. Once they start letting computers call balls and strikes, I'll start paying more attention to baseball again. JMO.
