nolafan33
I thought the saints have been soft the past few seasons (Bust still is) but the team as a whole is tougher this season IMO. There is renewed faith in the running game and GW has brought a different swagger to the defense, even though I'm not a fan of his style, they do appear to be tougher.Even Reggie is putting his head down trying to pick up extra yards rather than trying to hurdle defenders this season. They all contribute. Edited October 15, 2009 by nolafan33
SaintK
I think a wise saints fan once said they would rather have a good DT than waste time with Reggie Bust because the saints offense doesn't fit him? Nor any offense for that matter...maybe Montana's 49ers? Besides your missing the point, #2 overall picks are not just supposed to contribute, they are suppose to lead to victory! Its a crap shoot.Ask oakland if russell is leading them to victories.Ask San Fran if their number 1 is helpinghow about Joey the bum harrington. Ryan Leaf?Bush is still contributing more than most top picks.
Fleur de Brees
Wow, WFW simply can't quit Reggie. He'd been doing so well lately, but you know what they say - when you have a serious addiction, it only takes a nudge to knock you off the wagon. falconboogie
But did you get the message? WFW, I don't know why some Saint fans act all brand new about the Reggie comments. They have the same debates (or arguments) about him on their own message board.
