This game vs the 49ers DOES NOT SCARE ME ONE BIT

Recommended Posts

The only way I see how the 49er's keep is game close is if Matt Ryan has 3 turnovers and you guys score at least 1 defensive td. You guys have no weapons on offense. Vernon Davis can be taken out of the game easily . Issac Bruce is like 45 years old and doesnt have the seepd nor the other weapons around him to be effective. Your defense is good ..You guys got a goodline ..You switch up the 3-4 with the 4-3 base ..You got a star in Willis ..good corners and a decent safety but this defense can be explotited easy..We get our offense rolling this week ..

49er fans you guys are good your going to win the division maybe 8-8/9-7 gets you guys in ..

I hate 49er fan base to as well just what you guys did to us back in the day .. too bad in 98'

when we beat them in the dome in playoff game and Young threw like 3 ints:lol:

 This post made me laugh. Have you seen the 49ers play all season?

Issac Bruce is like 45 years old and doesnt have the seepd

Really. So when Isaac Bruce put a double move on McFadden from the Cardinals, who probably is a better corner than any of yours, did that show his lack of speed? Bruce is a wiley vet who gets open when he needs to.

You say we switch up the 3-4 for to the 4-3..

No we don't. Last year under Nolan we did and that is why we did so poorly. We complicated everything. Under Singletary we are a stricly a 3-4.

You got a star in Willis ..good corners and a decent safety but this defense can be explotited easy

Please explain how you came up with the conclusion we can be exploited easily. We contained the Cardinals offense which is way better than the Falcons.

Like I said before, this will be a low scoring game probably 17-14. Before I predicted the 49ers to win, but I just don't know. It's tough to say

On talent alone we are a much much better football team on paper. Matt Ryan is light years ahead of Shaun Hill as well so that right there puts us in a positive. This coaching staff and Ryan has yet to lose back to back game and right now i think we are tied for 2nd longest streak in the nfl without back to back loses. .

I will give credit to the 49ers defense cause they have a man in the middle but this is not Kyle Boller , we got a star at QB in Matt Ryan and a decent offensive play caller that is going to find ways to neutralize Patrick Willis

Watch for Jerious Norwood to get his number called on a couple of draws and screens. This is going to stop 49ers from blitzing and being over aggressive . Then we start pounding the middle away with Turner even though if its for 4-7 yard gains this is going to force them to drop one of the Safety in the box and then Ryan goes to work on Lawson with Tony G . Also i like Roddy this week on Nate Clements. Nate is as solid corner as they come but he likes to get up in the wrs face and Roddy can get on top of him with his speed and Roddy can get physical too. Jenkins and Booker should also make some key grabs when we spread this 49er defense out

+1 for you bud....Like your post

On defense..Its up to Van Gord to throw the kitchen sink at Shaun Hill who will look shell shocked if he is beat around. He is starting to look more at Vernon which we shouldnt have a problem covering espcially over top with a S.

THIS GAME HAS ROMP ALL OVER IT..

Falcons- 35

49ers-17

Ryan 24-33 312 yards 3 tds

Turner 16- 88 yards -1td

Norwood 7-56 yards-1td

White, Jenkins, TG all with TD catches

ok swift. let me break down your post a bit.

I will only do the first 3 games since you guys had a bye week.

now, in the first 3 games that you guys played, you guys have had 5 sacks to our 6. Sacks coming from:

John Abraham 2

Kroy Biermann 2

Stephen Nicholas 1

we have 6 in 3 games and 11 in the 4, but as I said, I will only do the 3.

Ray McDonald 2

Justin Smith 1

Aubrayo Franklin 1

Parys Haralson 1

Mark Roman 1

but you said you dont look at sacks, so lets look at QB pressures

ATL

Jamaal Anderson 5

Jonathan Babineaux 4

John Abraham 4

Kroy Biermann 4

Thomas Johnson 2

Peria Jerry 2

Chauncey Davis 1

Brian Williams 1

which is a total of 23 QB pressures. not bad.

now, lets take a look at San Francisco

SF

Justin Smith 15

Parys Haralson 12

Ray McDonald 5

Manny Lawson 5

Aubrayo Franklin 3

Michael Lewis 2

Isaac Sopoaga 1

Kentwan Balmer 1

for a grand total of 44. so in the same amount of games, the 49ers nearly DOUBLED what your team produced in the stat that you focus mostly on.

now, moving on to the next part of your post. you say that Norwood is the missing piece of your running game, reason being that they will have to respect his speed. you forget though that Manny Lawson and Patrick Willis are two of the fastest LB's in the NFL with 40 times coming in under 4.4. Dont believe me? check their combine numbers. Our defensive line and linebackers limited Steven Jackson as well as Adrian Peterson, two of the elite backs in the NFL. oh and in case you didnt know it, Adrian Peterson is pretty fast too with a 4.37 40-yard dash time. Norwood nor Turner are nearly as good of backs as Peterson.

let me combine the next part of nate clements and us not having good CB depth. you do realize that in the games we have played, that our 3 CB's are all in the top 20 of CB play, right?

Clements is at number 6

Spencer is at number 11

Dre Bly is at number 20

but going back to roddy white doing this and that, how do you expect him to play so amazingly when the main stat you focus on; QB pressure; our OLB as well as our DE lead ALL OF THE NFL in?

now.. about containing vernon... you said Stephen Nicolas? you do realize that he is 230 pounds and ran a 4.64, with a 33 vertical and standing at 6'2"

Vernon Davis is 250 pounds and runs a 4.38, he also has a 42 inch vertical at 6'3"

you expect that guy to keep up with Vernon? even funnier is you think that the 218 pound William Moore will be able to handle Vernon. not when he runs a 4.56 and is outweighed by vernon by 30 pounds and is shorter by 3 inches. still cant jump as high as vernon but comes close at 37 inch vertical. side note... vernon made plays on Adrian Wilson, a Pro Bowl Safty in the NFL. Moore is no where near that level.

you're right, Matt Ryan did show the "IT" factor... last year.

once again, you are fooling yourself if you think that you will come to our house, where Shaun Hill is 9-0 as a starter and "romp" on our 6th ranked Defense with you 23rd ranked offense.

Don't get me wrong Falcons fans, you guys have a very good team, and I really enjoy watching Matt Ryan play, but there will be no romp by the Falcons, let alone a victory unless Turner can get going on the ground and you guys can cause some turnovers.

You guys are also due for a bad game too. All 4 of your games this year have been solid played games where you clearly outplayed the opponent. Every team has a bad game here nor there. I think we will cause atleast 2 turnovers this game atleast buy a fumble maybe Abe around the corner on Staley and a pic thrown by Shaun Hill. As long as we dont turn the ball over to you guys and give you field position we will prevail and we should do it easily. I trust my teams offense even though we havent shown it yet over your defense. Your offense is going to have to make plays to and keep our offense off the field.

If we dont come out of this game a winner and your defense stiffles our offense its going to be a long year for us and that back to back seasons without a winning record for us might continue.

I have faith with Ryan and the coaching staff to get this game off the bye week

we already had our bad game. it was called Brett Favre.

I find it funny how you bring no stats to the table Swift. All you say is things like "oh, our player will do this, Abraham will do that" but you bring no stats, no facts or anything to the table. I could very easily say things like "oh, but Shaun Hill will start making throws because our O Line will gel this game because they have been doing so poorly lately. They will open up holes for Glenn Coffee and he will run on you. And we will win convincingly by at least 21 points".

Do you get the point I am making?

Wasnt a bad game at all. As a matter of fact I thought the Vikes would roll over the Niners at home. No Gore, Peterson on the turf, Favre as QB. You just got Favred.. plain and simple. That game couldnt have ended that way with any other quarterback, only Favre. If Peyton Manning or Tom Brady was the QB for the Vikings, I am not saying they wouldnt have beat you, but they wouldnt have beat you in that manner. A 48 yard frozen rope of a throw to the back of the endzone is just plain ridiculous. The Niners gave them all they could handle for 59 minutes and hung in there till the very very end. Conservative playcalling and poor defensive execution got you the L that week.

Having said that though, this is also the team that struggled against a Rams defense in the first half. Had 2 long runs against a decimated Seahawk linebacking core but struggled and is very high on the "3 and out" front. And the Vikings also looked COMPLETELY different against the Pack... (Anyone else notice that Favre actually threw the ball at the top of his drop? where were all the throws against the Niners?)

Its tough to bring stats to the table 4 games into the season..and we only played 3..so right now stats dont mean much ..

Like Hill has been sacked 13 times this season and we have only had 5 sacks so which is going to give .Is our front 4 going to get pressure on what seems to be a awful oline or is it Hill is holding onto the ball and not making quick decisions. If our front 4 shows up like they did in week 1 ..I can see the romp I predicted.

If they dont Hill can move the ball and take time off clock

Now on the other hand you guys have 11 sacks and +5 on turnovers. I wonder how many of those turnovers

were created by QB pressure. Our oline has only allowed 2 sacks this year but seem to not be gelling in run block situations.

Stats arent everything especially this early into the season

The Niners will be at home and they are playing really strong. They are one play from being undefeated.

Anyone who thinks this will be easy is kidding themselves.

One of the few Falcon fans with any sense. You guys actually think your gonna run the board upon us? I thought some of our fans were homers.

..Nate is a over agrressive corner IM TELLING YOU THIS NOW HE GETS BEAT DEEP THIS GAME ..EITHER FOR A BIG PLAY OF A BIG PASS INTERFERENCE CALL . Our running attack has yet to take place and we get back the speedster Jerious Norwood. A couple of draws to him and then LBS drop in to protect against run and Ryan hits the play action pass for 30 yards over to Tony G.

Your offense is putrid. Its realy mind boggling with a team that bad on offense is 3-1 but that is what you get for playing a soft schedule. Hey this is the NFL you play whats on it. Your offense will have to find ways to create it . Bruce should not beat our bad corners. Davis is a good option in the middle of the field for you guys but we have been pretty solid not allowing the big play. Our defense yes needs work but we are not aggressive we have a bend dont break approach much different from your scheme. Plus if we generate a pass rush with Abe it will be a long day for Hill like it was for Chad Pennington first week

this game in my opinion has romp writen all over it

I said wattttttttttttttt
