SWIFT HITTER
On talent alone we are a much much better football team on paper. Matt Ryan is light years ahead of Shaun Hill as well so that right there puts us in a positive. This coaching staff and Ryan has yet to lose back to back game and right now i think we are tied for 2nd longest streak in the nfl without back to back loses. .I will give credit to the 49ers defense cause they have a man in the middle but this is not Kyle Boller , we got a star at QB in Matt Ryan and a decent offensive play caller that is going to find ways to neutralize Patrick WillisWatch for Jerious Norwood to get his number called on a couple of draws and screens. This is going to stop 49ers from blitzing and being over aggressive . Then we start pounding the middle away with Turner even though if its for 4-7 yard gains this is going to force them to drop one of the Safety in the box and then Ryan goes to work on Lawson with Tony G . Also i like Roddy this week on Nate Clements. Nate is as solid corner as they come but he likes to get up in the wrs face and Roddy can get on top of him with his speed and Roddy can get physical too. Jenkins and Booker should also make some key grabs when we spread this 49er defense outOn defense..Its up to Van Gord to throw the kitchen sink at Shaun Hill who will look shell shocked if he is beat around. He is starting to look more at Vernon which we shouldnt have a problem covering espcially over top with a S. THIS GAME HAS ROMP ALL OVER IT..Falcons- 3549ers-17Ryan 24-33 312 yards 3 tdsTurner 16- 88 yards -1tdNorwood 7-56 yards-1tdWhite, Jenkins, TG all with TD catches

bossFALCON™
haha theres no way we put 456 yards to their defensewhy not?and i do feel a little bit less confident about this game than i did in the preseason looking at the schedule, but then again this is still a game we should win IMO and we don't lose b2b games. same goes for the bears game. no slight at all against the niners, but we should win this game. Rhodaric
This is the game the O really gets it going. Also the run game is going to bust out as well.I have to agree swift.49's D is pretty good, but I think the our team is pissed about the NE game and takes it out on the 49's.I don't take that team lightly, but I just think our squad is angry and will try to abuse the 9ers. SFwillis52
Keep sleeping on our team, keep thinking what you're thinking. Don't be surprised if you leave SF with a fat L and the score 26-13 wondering what just happened. Yea we beat a low Rams team, but we are one Brett Favre miracle junk pass from being 4-0. We played at a hostile place in Minn without our star player and should have won, we went against the NFC champs n shut down their offense on their own turf that eliminated you all last year. We played a Seahawks team that was good when they came in, but left all beat up, now they are horrible without Hassleback.

Gritzblitz 2.0
The Niners will be at home and they are playing really strong. They are one play from being undefeated.Anyone who thinks this will be easy is kidding themselves.

WeakNoodleArmMattRyan
Its a long season and we play the Saints twice.Well our next 4 games are gonna be tough, SF, Chi, Dal, and NO. We can't afford to lose against the easiest opponents of the 4.

We didn't give up 90 yards to Adrian Peterson at their house, what makes you think your running game will do better in our house?

Andre5000
Didn't we have one of these threads right before the Pats game?.......... Yes, and this is the same MB that has made many such brilliant statements such as * "Flacco is an average QB, he only wins because of the defense" * "The Saints arent that good" *"The 49ers should have beat the Rams by way more than they did, they arent that good" * Tom Brady is over-rated"

leothedog
This thread certainly can be registered under "Comic Relief".All of you that think this Sunday is going to be a "Romp" for the Falcons, well, you just keep on thinking that. Seriously, please do. However, may I suggest that before the game you go out to Wal Mart and buy a new TV Remote and put it away somewhere so you will have one that works after you throw yours against the wall and smash it to pieces at the end of the game. You might want to pick up a Wall Patch kit also while you're there. Edited October 6, 2009 by leothedog

You guys have no weapons on offense. Vernon Davis can be taken out of the game easily . Issac Bruce is like 45 years old and doesnt have the seepd nor the other weapons around him to be effective. Your defense is good ..You guys got a goodline ..You switch up the 3-4 with the 4-3 base ..You got a star in Willis ..good corners and a decent safety but this defense can be explotited easy..We get our offense rolling this week ..49er fans you guys are good your going to win the division maybe 8-8/9-7 gets you guys in ..I hate 49er fan base to as well just what you guys did to us back in the day .. too bad in 98' when we beat them in the dome in playoff game and Young threw like 3 ints:lol:
