Just because they don't have a great offense doesn't mean that it's not going to be a tough game. Even without Gore the running game is tough, although its a huge plus we don't have to deal with that guy. Their defense could shut us down.

I wouldn't say theres 'no way' (mainly because our defense has not been playing well) but I think its highly unlikely. We got spanked around by NE, this team is hungry. Look out Niners.

That's the biggest "intangible" game-changer to me. Based on various quotes from Peterson and Abraham, the defense is practically salivating over the chance to get after the ball / the QB again. And our offense is just too diverse and talented to never have a break-out game.

Here's hoping that it ALL comes together on the West Coast.

Valid question. The Pats game just seemed like a wake-up call to many of them, based on their interviews and quotes post-game. Perhaps it will come to nothing, but I'd rather they face an O-line that's been giving up a high amount of sacks not with over-confidence but with the notion that they better get back down to business after a disappointing last outing.

Even before that game it was 22.3. We haven't scored less than 20 points in any game. I think that's pretty decent considering all of our short-comings on offense.

First off I think its interesting to actually see fans from both of our teams actually caring about playing each other again. It hasnt been since the falcons where in our division that I talked to any REAL falcon fans in the bay area. Also my niners are starting to look good enough to actually care!

That being said I want to let all you falcon fans know that your not as good as you think you are and are apparently still riding off the fumes of last years success.

Let me put this into perspective...And puuuhhlllease grasp what I am going to share with you cause nothing irratates posters more than having there reposnses, responded to with ********, borderline brain dead comments.

Your previous success was surprising as well as inspiring last year, and has moved Matt Ryan to the upper epchilon of NFL quaterbacks. He had a lot of help from "Turner the Burner" and from a much improved right side of the offensive line with Gonzo shoring up the corner on run downs. Your recievers where good and sometimes great. Your D....ehhh coulda been better.

But that was last year. Gonzalez is your biggest recieving threat now!?! Your #1 reciever has the droppsies and your running game looks all outa gas.

Just because your palyers did something before doesnt mean they will continue to do so. Dont believe me? Thats fine. You dont have to. just look at the the rankings of both our teams and we win in every statistical category save one. And if you dare run that Bull that we have played weaker teams...well...I cant say anything to that. Cause quite frankly your right.

But ironically that only helps my argument. See remember how I mentioned that whole last year thing? Well the Cardinals are palying with the exact same team as last year but they dont seem to be performing to expectations even after factoring in the SuberBowl loser curse. There offense isnt clicking there run game is nonexsistent and they look plain flat. Sound a little familiar?

Now for my team.

Im under no delusions that we have some work to do. But its not the talent that we have been lacking, it was the VERY predictable playcalling. Unfortunately for the falcons the niners have learned that announcing before the game that HEY YOOOOU GUYS. were running, is a bad idea. Which led to teams stacking nine in the box. So last week we started implementing a Shaun Hill orientated offense and this week please believe that we will notice that thing you call a secondary and take full advantage of it.

This is starting to get a little long so far reading sake Ill just comment that our defense has speed at LB and physicality at secondary. very overestimated D line. They play with big heart and try there ***** off. But there no John Abraham when it comes to pressuring the QB.

Now the last thing Ill tell you all that will leave you something to look for come sunday is a little gem no Niner fan wants to mention! Unfortunatley for niner fans and for Falcon fans viewing pleasure we have undisputedly one of the worst RGs in the league. He goes by the name of Chilo Rachal but hes known affectionatly by me as "effing trash". So watch for brookings and Lofton to get a sack each through the revolving door that is Chilo.

its 3 games into the season, so I guess you've already handed Brees the MVP, and called it a day on your playoff hopes with your dreadfull offense and a defense that will eventually stop carrying your team at some point. Also its worth noting that Morgan has the dropsies and can't hold Roddy's jockstrap.

Fail, the cards never had a run game, and their Oline played much better last year, but it's still 4 games into the season and you never know w/ that team. We all though the cards were horrid 10 games into last season, and look what happened.

Shaun hill is sorry, you are really lacking talent at that position. Thinking that you primarily won't run the ball is make belief and you will only fool yourself. Hill is about as topflight as an ostrich can get, and if we don't have to stack 8 in the box this game won't end well for you.

Brookings isn't even here, and I'm pretty sure a belicheck defense is much better than yours. They however caused only one turnover which was a lucky helmet to ball hit on turner, and only managed to keep us under 10 points w/ ref help and by running out the clock. Also take note that we already beat a one dimentional team like yours in Miami.

If we hold your run game in check we win this game, simple as that really.

pats did it mostly with their offense. look at their time of possession in the 2nd half. we couldnt get our offense on the field.

Like I stated before I dont have an in depth knowledge of your roster for last year because I didnt care about yyou. But by your posts I can tell I know more about your team than you know about mine.
