Mr. Right
Bye weeks are normally good times for teams to reassess their season outlooks. The Falcons at 2-1 have a great chance to make it to the playoffs, but divisional rival, New Orleans Saints, may have the upper hand in this race. The Saints have been extremely dominant this season, wielding an unstoppable passing game, explosive running game, and a defense that knows how to step up when it matters. As a result, the Saints are 4-0 and the Falcons are 1 1/2 games behind them. Looking around the league right now, the Falcons have the last spot in the wild card race - which is not a good sign for pre-season Superbowl favorites.Where will the Falcons ultimately end up this season? MilleniumFalcon
11 or 12 wins feasible... which will be wild-card or division champ depending on what the Saints do.

Did someone really pick us as the Superbowl favorite? Who? B.) How can you pin us in the last spot in the wild card race after 4 weeks? 2-1 has us right in the thick of things. BlacksburgHokie
The bye week is a good time to reassess the season if it occurs 9 or 10 weeks in, once we pretty much know where our team and those around us stand. At this point in the season there is still plenty of time for teams to get their acts together or to fall apart...
JayOzOne
The Stains scored one offensive touchdown today and benefited from three interceptions and a fumble recovery. They are playing extremely good football, but let's not crown them as division winners in week four.
Jesus
How come the Saints wore white at home today?Hey a wildcard team knocked off a super dominant 18-0 team to win the Super Bowl a few years ago.A 14-2 underdog knocked off a heavily favored and very dominant 15-1 team to advance to a Super Bowl in 1998... SmittS
Just an idea. If you want to hide the fact that your VICK75 you should probably quit with putting ******* ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s around every other word. I see you've toned it down but one managed to sneak into the title.
RunningThePiszOuttaTheBall
Where did the Saints get Darren Sharper? Dude is playing lights out defense. Would like to have someone like that in our backfield ... though there are some players with potential.

MattyIce07
It's a shame - I really had high hopes for this team. This looked like it would be that year for the 09 Falcons, but reality has slapped us right across the face and now we're 1.5 behind the division lead with only 13 more games in the season. We have to win out from here to even have a SHOT at the wildcard.
slewis1952
When you play your 4 toughest opponents on the road (Giants, Jets, Pats, and Cowboys) and the Saints get all 4 at home, the league has gotten its wish.
