JayOzOne
Roddy is very good if not "elite". He did what he had to do in order to get his contract. The addition of Gonzalez meant that his looks were going to decrease and the loss of Douglas was an opportunity for him. Had he waited until the end of the season (especially with the strictures of the uncapped season limiting his options) then he would have certainly cost himself money. I don't condone players under contract holding out, but I can understand why you use your leverage in some circumstances. That being said, he's got to get his head out of his ### and help open up the field by running clean routes and making the catches he's being paid to make. GreenFire
For all of you saying Roddy is not clutch and has never shown it...What?!Just last week, he made a big catch on 4th down behind him to keep a drive alive. And do you not remember the Philly game last year? That drive that Ryan hit him in the back of the endzone, I remember him making big catches and that HUGE TD catch. Roddy White is just as good as Greg Jennings, btw. Their numbers and their skills are near identicals.

Tandy
I still think roddy is good....he will get his receptions...i mean matt ryan has missed some deep balls to him and with the addition of Gonzo his catches will probably go downAttempts to Roddy over the first 3 games are up over last year. Gonzo hasn't affected the number of times Ryan throws to him. Last year he had 11 catches out of 17 targeted passes and 1 TD after the first 3 games. This year he has 15 catches out of 24 targeted passes and 1 TD after the first 3 games. Gonzo has no affect whatsoever on Roddy's passes. He's been targeted 7 more times and made 4 more catches! As for Roddy's contract - that's between Roddy and the Falcons - none of the OP's business. As long as he's on the field playing and doing his job, he'll continue to be our number one receiver.

Finally
I remember getting on here and telling people that Roddy White was a average reciever, but not a Elite receiver and i got chewed out about how great he was. I remember that it was flyfalconfan who started that thread. So why do you keep starting over with new accounts but continue to embarrass yourself with the same idiotic posts?
