Who should Tye Hill start over?

if you had to choose, which corner would you sit in order for tye hill to start? or would you just leave williams, grimes and houston out there? discuss.

Williams needs to be at NB, Grimes has played the best out of all our CB during the preseason and 3 games into the season. HOuston has done ok. So if it was up to me i would put Grimes and Hill on the outside.

Someone missed Moss abusing Grimes during the Pats game. The best bet would be to have Wlliams and Hill starting at LCB and RCB respectively. Then when we go nickle put Williams at NB and move Chevis or houston to the LCB spot.

He doesn't have to start right away. Just get him in the game and let him prove himself and learn the scheme in real game time action.

Start him at Nickel...if Houston or Williams struggle (probably Houston) put him in their spot.

Someone missed Moss abusing Grimes during the Pats game. The best bet would be to have Wlliams and Hill starting at LCB and RCB respectively. Then when we go nickle put Williams at NB and move Chevis or houston to the LCB spot.

Please give me plays where Moss abused Grimes. Moss abused Williams more than Grimes, Grimes was the only CB that really gave Moss any trouble.

Brent Grimes, of course. The guy's enthusiastic and all, but his enthusiasm always seems to get him called for pass interference.

Houston either plays too far off or is caught anticipating the wrong route. He also can't tackle.

Please give me plays where Moss abused Grimes. Moss abused Williams more than Grimes, Grimes was the only CB that really gave Moss any trouble.

Jaymadd lets go by the facts..... Grimes or Houston could have been benched when when Brian Williams came..... It was Grimes who got bench...... The samething happen last year with Foxworth...... The samething will happen when Tye Hill is ready.

You guys can not debate this...... The man was benched.... You may not like Houston and i dont even like him when he is not playing aggressive but the guy is our best CB ...The guy made 2 big plays at the end of the Carolina game....

I'm not downing Grimes but those are the facts.... I know the guy ball out during training camps and OTA's but thats nothing.... Ive heard Carson Palmer say .." I cant wait for the season.. We have been practicing against my defense so much that they know all my plays... Now they are intercepting me left and right" ..... Thats the only way i can explain what Grimes does during training camp....

Grimes is a NB IMO, I would say Hill will be starting over Houston if anyone. I'd let Chevis, Houston, and Grimes fight it out for the NB and other CB spots afterwards.

Yeah get to Video cutting my good man. I really dont like HOuston, but he is doing below ok right now. I do think that Hill and Houston will be the starters but Houston needs to be next as soon as Owens is ready which will probably be next year.

Moss abuses everybody. Hes just a great receiver. Certain stuff is expected out of players like that. All you can do is hope to minimize his big plays as best you can. Grimes hasn't been THAT bad. In my opinion we lost the game because Brady was free as a wild goose. Something that happened because we don't have enough players with the skillset to pressure QBs...like Anderson..which is another issue that I'll just leave alone for now. Houston has been playing alright, but he has been horrible at times. Brian Williams gets beat pretty often but I like what he can bring to the table as a Veteran. He has a knack for being around the ball. With that said, I think he would be more fitted as a NB because I just can't see Houston making open field tackles on RBs. But if Houston can't appear to handle it, then they may have to play musical chairs with this secondary so to speak. DeCoud is the only one who appears to be improving if he can hold on to those INTs.

I chose Grimes... but I don't really like how Houston has played either. If it were up to me from what my non pro football coach eyes have seen it would be Williams and Tye Hill starting with Chevis in the NB. OR maybe even Chevis and Tye starting with Williams as the NB.

There is apparently something going on with my boy Chevy though...

I just dont think that he has progressed to the point where he has earned a spot in the CB rotation, he starting out the gate slow this year.

Seriously though, I think he should start over Grimes. Then again when I think about it, Grimes is never heard about but he could just be covering his guy good. Or he could be the guy blowing the coverages.

I don't really see Hill "start" at the moment, even with our CBs playing bad (which isn't always their fault) ... he'll get some time at Nickel, but I don't see him play on the outside until somebody really blows up and costs us a game.

I think Grimes will lose (some) playtime at Nickel, that's why I think he won't be with the Falcons in 2010.

That said, somehow the CBs aren't that big a concern to me ... it doesn't really matter who's playing at CB, as long as the opposing QB has all day to find a open receiver, our problem starts up front.

I'm not a coach and therefore don't know for sure but I will say this:

When Grimes' man makes a reception at least Brent is right there. There have been times Chris' man has caught the ball and Houston isn't even on my TV screen.
