Ice74
especially after a loss and so early in the season, although I've said it before,... I think the early bye week benefits a young team like us, a late bye week benefits an older more experienced team. But anyways, long time till San Frandiscuss
ConnFalcon
Bye weeks suck for the fans. But are good for the team, esp after our loss on sunday.

vel
im glad they gave us the bye after NE and not later. they knew it would help us either way (if a win we could bask on what we did right and fine tune that, if a loss they can regroup and figure out what went wrong and fine tune that) i like how we are sitting now. i still think we can win 10 games like i planned when i saw the schedule. every one keeps forgetting they already factored in this loss right when the schedule came out its just a more bitter taste because we had a better shot than we thought we would
JKH5785
it's going to be good for us, San Francisco is going to be a tough game, especially at their field. They are a pretty solid team that really hasn't proved themself yet. They could possibly dictate what we do much like NE. If we lose after two weeks to prepare for them, we will look like fools. Even after the NE loss I think we will be expected to win the game against the 49ers, so we have find our way and do so.
srichter23
yeah i'd rather have the bye week a few weeks later but it gives us time to reflect on what didn't work last week and what can be improved upon before the san fran game. falcons4life
I agree that this team needed a wake-up call and that a bye right now is what we need. What I dont like is that we will all be talking, debating, arguing, and analyzing this loss to the Pats for two weeks.Yet its the nature of the beast and I'm just as guilty as anyone else.
dipper
Take this time to spend with your family and friends because during the season we are so focused on Falcons football.

Clark Kent™
I think its going to be very beneficial to us. We just came off a big loss and NE exposed some weaknesses on our defense so we have a full week to change some things and play SF without Gore so we will be coming off our bye and SHOULD get a win to get our confidence going for the rest of the season. sidslidkid
I'm going to the Braves game Sunday. Lord knows they need some help with the attendance. They've become a really fun team to watch over the last couple of weeks.
