defensedefensedefense
Will he look like an All Pro when we play the niners?

luckyhole
At least All-Pro reserve. But there is no way we should lose this game. Especially after two weeks of preparation. We'll be the Falcons again.
Jaymadd
Dont let the YPC fool you. Coffee is a good hard runner. He hits the running lanes with power and has good burst through the hole and finishes runs.

We all knew our defense wasnt going to top flight, but its pissing me off that BVG isnt calling more attacking plays. Id rather lose 5 games by attacking the opposition offense rather than sitting back and letting them dominate the time of possession...We need atleast one more defensive draft and DC that isnt afraid to put his own balls on the line... I never said he wasnt...He was trying to run on the Minny defense for most of his carries and they are the stingiest in the league. However that will all change when he gets 30 odd carries against our birds imo...Im looking at the SF game hard and long... I think they have as good a shot as us at winning this game... phattywankenobi
Will he look like an All Pro when we play the niners? Most of his carries were against Minnesota so I wouldn't underestimate him. Although I still prefer Coffee over Frank Gore and his 246 all purpose yards.

Coffee is the type of RB that gets better as the game goes on, he is not the change of pace back like a Leon Washington/Jerious Norwood, so he needs carries, which he has probably not gotten since Gore has been ripping it up in San Fran

We see that they can be successful against the run, we just need to get back to what we were doing that first game.
Guest Gritz
Id rather lose 5 games by attacking the opposition offense rather than sitting back and letting them dominate the time of possession...Amen to that.I was talking with a friend of mine who is as hardcore a Falcon fan as there is yesterday. I asked him (about our defense against the Pats) "Would you rather get killed by your enemy lying down with a thousand paper cuts or get blown to bits charging that same enemy with your sword drawn?"We chose the former instead of the latter on Sunday...... Yep... Id rather see the defense going all out and missing a few plays compared to the ***** crap we are playing. BVG needs to harden the f*ck up and trust his players to get the job done...The coaching staff as a whole need to do the same...
