matty72780
I love Turner just like everyone else does, but the fact of the matter is Norwood has one huge attribute that Turner does not...ACCELERATION! Turner is a very powerful RB, and can either make people miss or run them over once he is in the open field. The problem with Turner is that he cant get to the next level before being tackled, or at least not within these first three games. He was so close against the Pats to breaking big runs but he would get wrapped up a few steps after going through the hole... Norwood is at full speed in two strides and has much sharper cutting ability, Turner is full speed after 5 strides and has more power but the majority of successful RB's in the league now have the speed/acceleration attribute that out ways the power running scheme. All I am saying is that Norwood is in a contract year so if it were up to me I would have them split carries to ensure we signed the correct RB to the big contract... ConnFalcon
Tuner has NO RUNNING LANES. You can only do so much when you O-line can't create holes.

I hope everyone got a chance to see what a real offense looks like last night against the Cardinals. I hope we change our college approach to offense soon before the entire season is lost. MSalmon
Tuner has NO RUNNING LANES. You can only do so much when you O-line can't create holes.yeah youre right. It's odd to see how dominate last year's oline was versus this year so far. It's almost like the "secret" of Dahl and Clabo is out--they are just very average athletes. I really really think we draft a legit RT this upcoming draft with the first pick and possibly a center as well. I think Dahl is pretty decent but Clabo is more a versatile backup. matty72780
Tuner has NO RUNNING LANES. You can only do so much when you O-line can't create holes.I agree to certain extent but Turner has made it through the line a few time and has gotten wrapped up by either the safety or and outside LB before reaching the next level. You cant honestly say that Turner doesnt look sluggish thus far. I am simply stating that Norwood deserves his chance to get atleast 15 carries a game, and that his insane ability to accelerate out of his cuts will help our offense a great deal, and generate more big plays than Turner is able to. Norwood has the ability to make a play with no blocking, when Turner needs an escort from an offensive lineman 9 out of 10 times.... We have to see what we have in Norwood as a feature back before we let him go elsewhere and become a freaking beast!

ConnFalcon
 We need to resign Norwood and draft a RT....I would love to resign Norwood, but lets hope he doesn't ask for starter money. I have a feeling there will be teams throwing some green his way. We got to wait and see.
