After the abysmal performance yesterday I felt like our team was afraid of the Patriots.

We were pushed around and Coach Smith coached scared. I would have rather went in there with a no fear all out aggressive game plan and they played to win. From this day forward the coaches and players should vow NEVER to play another game scared. PLAY TO WIN....be AGGRESSIVE. JA98 if you are going to get a penalty MAKE IT COUNT!!!!!

Pulling up lamely and bouncing off Brady was an EMBARRASSMENT!! Somebody MAKE A PLAY!!

I AGREE.........also im tired of hearing that we played a HOF QB and a great team....clearly brady isnt the same person of two years ago(atleast right now)...and a good team would have easily beat the patriots yesterday...we were almost blown out by a team that didnt play that well...two of those drop passes or over thrown balls in the red zone for TD's instead of field goals and we have a 40 burger on us...

it was disgusting to say the least...and I don't see the New England comparison here either. No one will ever confuse Mike Smith with Bill Bellichek. Smith was SCHOOLED yesterday as was our entire team .Hopefully he/they learn from this and vow NEVER TO LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN !!! No more humiliation for Atlanta...we've ate dirt long enough here!!

Locker room talk; what was said in there to make the Falcons play so timid?

Was it the talk in the meeting rooms? Wherever it happened somebody thought

it was smart not to give the Patriots any bulletin board material. So we heard

all week how great a team the Patriots are, we heard Tom Brad is a HOF qb, Randy

Moss is great, their coaching staff is superb. STOP the presses! After a week

of praising the Patriots we went out and played as if we were happy to be on the same

field. Our offensive calls were as if we were playing the 2004 Patriots. Our defense was so

mesmerized that when we were in position to make a play we were like a deer in head lights.

DeCoud its a football, you've caught them pretty much all your life, just because it was

thrown by Tom Brady doesn't mean it's a special ball. If DeCoud catch that ball in the

end zone we win the game. Yes, you lost that game for the team. We need you to be a playmaker

not another peg in the wheel.

I dunno man. Seems like to me your posting as many negative threads in the last 24 hours as you can think of. And it almost seems like your taking pleasure in this loss.

But whatever thats not for me to judge. You are your own fan, but try to keep your negatives analysis and your solutions to a few threads. Most of these observations have already been said and if you'd like to add to them there is a perfectly good add reply feature.

Its one thing to vent, but what you're doing is a little more like Chicken Little" the sky is falling-like. IMO you're being overly-negative and as you can see from most responses to most of your OPs, its not appreciated much, but I'm afraid that's what wanted in the first place. Not cool.

I have a 24 hour rule and at 4 I will stfu....this game was so poorly coached, played,officiated and commentated that I had so many things I wanted to spew...the game made me have to spew...

I noticed there are people who have problems when someone criticizes the team. Get over it! In NYC Boston any relevant sports town with relevant sports teams has criticism....If the Patriots played as poorly in every facet of the game they would be getting RIPPED locally, nationally...

I hope our team doesn't have such a fragile psyche.

Those complaining about others opinions being negative or stupid or whatever....this is not the Falcons cheerleading board (or at least I don't think it is)

There's no issues with criticism, but when that's ALL you do and do it a lot, its mundane and repetitive and you're kidding yourself thinking people have an issue with you criticizing the team. So you're trying to tell me that you have undeniable proof that the team was "afraid" of the guys on the other side of the ball? Give me a break. Not a good point at all. Every NFL team goes into every game expecting to win. Unless you're horrible which we are not.
