So we're done throwing the ball down the field?

Recommended Posts

Is that the deal now? Two weeks in a row we have not thrown the ball further than 30 yards.

So we don't throw the ball down the field and we don't blitz ever. Cool.

It would seem our coaching staff is REALLY dedicated to a gameplan, even if the game starts getting out of hand.

We have the personnel to air it out, which also means taking chances, giving up a few big plays and possibly turning a 26-10 ballgame into a 40-10 ballgame, but so what?

But for some reason, we just stick with the gameplan...4 man defensive front, dink and dunk, punt on fourth down.

I mean, we've never been blown out but...a loss is a loss. Take some chances, Smitty.

I sure wish we got Singletary when we had the chance.

Jeez, one loss and its all over for us?

Singletary's reign will be similar to that of Glanville's tenure. He gets his guys fired up via emotional motivation but it doesnt last. Rah-Rah speeches only work for so long with NFL players.

He will have one, maybe two good seasons then it fizzles out.

Our team and coaching staff learned alot yesterday and the silver lining is that they wont let it happen again.

After the bye and beating up on SF you will love Smitty again.

Do you even go to the games and support the team? Or sit at home everytime?

When financially available, yes, I do wake up at 8 AM, drive the 3 hours to the Georgia Dome, get in my seat by 12:15, yell my *** off. Drive the 3 hours back.

I've also paid the $250-$300 since DirecTV has had the Sunday ticket so I can watch all the games in NC, Maryland, and Mississippi. I've also followed the Falcons obsessively since I was 12.

Look at your post history for fairweather. When the going is good, it's good, but then let something go wrong, the sky is falling. You make a post calling out people who support Grimes? Wow. Guess it's a good thing he got beat by RANDY MOSS so you could be right.

11-5 last year and 2-1 this year is horrible. Mike Smith is the worst coach in the NFL.
