Section 111 fan
4:03:46 pm Atlanta's defensive game plan might win the award for the most unoriginal. It was pretty much rush four players every time and play deep zone, which QB Tom Brady picked apart.
thestufford
Nice... They forgot to mention we lined up a midget against Randy Moss almost the entire game.

sdogg
Its obvious our coaches did not watch the tape of the jets and bills. And I will never understand why the midget was anywhere near moss. That was just plain stupid and asking brady to exploit that mismatch. Joremarid
we need a DC who isn't afraid to attack. if you get beat going after the other guy, then tip your hat. but if you sit back in zone with a dline that can't get any pressure, then you are playing scared. I just KNEW we would be bringing a LOT more pressure today considering what the Jets defense had demonstrated last week!! It's OBVIOUS Brady is not back to his old form of being an extremely consistent passer and we just let him sit there and PICK US APART today! He!L, I heard the "Jeopardy game show clock music" with all the time he had to sit in the pocket!!!

DynomiteD
you can not play scared and expect to win. the old saying "if you are going to go down, go down fighting". Defensive game plan and play calling were 100% horrible.

Yeah, one time when Brady was in the pocket, I read a novel and finished it before he threw a completed pass. Another time, I played a game of chess with a friend before he completed a pass (and it was mail chess).

ATLballer
And we still hung with them to the 3rd quarter. thanks to brady over throwing the ball and their WR dropping passes...we had nothing to do with the score being close til the 3rd qtr.... philosophico
Defensive gameplan reminded me of the 3rd preseason game against the chargers but without the blitzing and the multiple 3rd and long conversions.Honestly, even if we did blitz we would have been picked apart like that preseason game, prolly why we didnt blitz. Were not a good blitzing team also.
