VegasFalconsFan
Turner looks burned out - I would only use him in goal-line playsI don't know if we just ran him too often last year or what but the speed that he did have to the hole is goneHe is still very effective inside the 5 for goal line type plays but he seems done for every down backI think we should get Thomas Brown back and run Snelling as the primary most downs and Thomas Brown and/or Norwood as the alternative and give Turner alot of rest except inside the 5The clear lack of a running game is killing usI don't care if we paid Turner all that money-- we should use someone elsebecause as we saw this team do too often with Warrick Dunn----using someone after they are no longer 1st team effective anymore... just because we feel like we have a "duty"to do so is counter productive I bet if we had Snelling as the featured back today with "fresh legs"instead of Turner doing the bowling ball "cha cha cha" nervous tippy-toe routine we would have won this game
schwarzenegger321
running game is killing usI don't care if we paid Turner all that money-- we should use someone elsebecause as we saw this team do too often with Warrick Dunn----using someone after they are no longer 1st team effective anymore... just because we feel like we have a "duty"to do so is counter productive I bet if we had Snelling as the featured back today with "fresh legs"instead of Turner doing the bowling ball "cha cha cha" nervous tippy-toe routine we would have won this gameThis is a ridiculous perspective. The offensive line has been pretty ineffective against the run this year. Today wilfork was getting penetration all day until he got hurt and then we were not moving anyone. Turner is not a good lateral RB. Never has been. He is a power back with very good speed. He has to get some forward progress to be effective and when he is being hit at the line of scrimage he cannot get going. Turner is a very good back and teams know this. There were a dozen times today where NE push 9 men into the box to stop him. The problem isnt Turner it's our lack of vertical passing attack that is allowing teams to push everyone up and jam the line.
*NiteFalcon*
turner does look slow, but just because he hasnt had the greatest first 3 games of the season doesnt mean you give up on him. keep in mind a lot of teams now are geared against our running game. we need to prove we can win with a passing game as well, and we did the first two weeks. Im sure at some point turner will regain his sea legs...i hope

VegasFalconsFan
its not Turner or the line, Its the play calling!So... You think Turner looks just as fast to the hole this year as last? And you think on the few plays he has gotten in the open field in the regular season that he looks just as fast as last year when in the open field??? theburner33
The truth hurts - he is SLOW to the linehe has lost the speed he did have last yearYour right 100 yds and a TD last game and 60 yds and a TD on 15 carries this week is pathetic... Lets just forget about the 1700 yds and 17 TDs last year and focus on the now. He is old 27 and had 1 bad game and 2 above avg games. Hes only averaging 3.5 yds a game and hasnt had a 200 yd game yet. Oh and lets not forget how injury prone he is now plz report to the bucs board there team really needs you embarrasing them even more
JKH5785
You shouldn't be allowed to post. Turner doesn't have near the blocking he had last year. They are all over him from the time he nearly gets the ball. Mularky is holding this Offense back with his ####### 5yrd sideline passes trying to convert long yardage. JKH5785
Turner is fine. Mularky's offense is so easy to disect that teams know almost exactly whats coming every time. He only runs a handfull of different plays, and they are the same from last year. If we didn't have Tony, it would be even more obvious

since68andcounting
There's nothing wrong with Turner. He had at least 50% of his yards today AFTER the first hit. When Wilfork is 2 yards deep before the handoff, that's a problem. When Turner has the choice of running into the back of his own lineman, or straight into one or two opposing players, that's a problem. WE'RE NOT GETTING THE BLOCKING. FalconMama
I think the bulk of our problems begin with the interior of our offensive line. Blalock, McClure and Dahl, they have been struggling, especially Blalock and McClure. Whenever they get their issues straightened out then we should improve. It is the fact that this coaching staff insists on running the ball even if there are 11 men in the box. You have to show other teams that you can win without running the ball at all or they will keep stacking the box.

I hope for your parents sake that you are eight years old.don't take my word for it.....let the tape prove it... If you are enough of a fan that you have last years games on DVR or video ...playthem and see how fast it takes him to run to the line in the games last year and runs in open spaceversus this year --- you'll see he is much slower--even during the few times where he has had open field this yearyes-- he does a good job of getting some yacas he did last year - however he is significantly slowerwhether that is physical , or from being too indecisive I don't know but it is clear when he is in open space he no longerhas that "burst" of speed he had last yearin similarly situated blocks
