Falcon Freddie
Is it just me, or has the NFL passed a new rule which makes offensive holding a penalty except when the player being held is John Abraham?I have lost count of the number of times I have seen the other team's guards put a death grip on Abraham and no penalty flag. Numerous times this game I truly do believe Brady would have been flattened by Abraham if not for the blatant holds put on Big John by one of the Patriots' left guards. The frustrating thing is this game was eminently winnable by the Falcons. Unfortunately, the Falcons made way more mistakes than they could overcome. The Patriots did not win solely on the holds on Abraham, but I truly believe Brady received far more protection than he rightfully should have. The quality of officiating in the NFL is going right into the tank.

obmann
That is why you cannot like NE. Oh my goodness. They are getting calls and you are getting non calls.Look at the last TD. Light was all over the shirt of John. That is incredible. But you have to play against these circumstances at NE. But no question. Abraham was held the whole day. schwarzenegger321
Abraham wasnt being held. At least according to the rules of the game. He was just dominated. He looked terrible and was probably our worst lineman today.
srichter23
abraham does not always show up in big spots. he likes to pile on his sacks against mediocre teams.
