Hokies&Falcons
So, I have found out that I can't charge my controller via play-n-charge kit by plugging the USB cable into my computer. In fact, it makes the rechargeable battery packs lose the ability to charge and makes them useless. I have no idea why it does this?I was wondering what everyone else uses, and if you use regular rechargeable batteries instead of the play-n-charge kit? If you use regular rechargeable batteries, what kind of battery charger and batteries do you use? There are a lot of different kinds on the market, based on my perusing of ebay...Thanks in advance : )

I know several people who are able to. For some reason it doesn't work with my computer...
Morgan Freeman
I use the battery packs that are made specifically for the controllers. I have the charging base that I hook them up to when they get low.
Falcons Ace
I've never heard of plugging the Play-and-Charge kit into your computer and having it charge, just the Xbox. I prefer the rechargable battery station so you never have to deal with cords and you can always have a few extra packs on hand.

House
I just use AA rechargeable batteries. Got tired of the battery packs only working for about 10 charges
