I know some people don't like this site, so for them have a look at the Player Participation

See who is making the plays and from where, but for others who want to look at some of the things that dont show up watching the game read on :)

What I like about our offence is the offensive line, especially after the game against the Dolphins. Sam Baker had a great day, 1 pressure in 30 drop backs. Tony Gonzalez turned into the blocker we hoped he would be and not the blocker we saw at Miami, and Todd McClure had a beastly game for a center in the run department.

Defensively we know Houston had a tough time against Steve Smith, but some times you have to put that down to Smith being so good (take his first catch for instance, that wasnt bad coverage that was just a great play. Our pass rush didn't have a great game, but Thomas Decoud graded out well. This was the kind of performance we expected at the start of the season, good offence, so-so defence.

But victories! Look over at the Pats, Brady didn't get pressured all that much consistently but still had a bad game. He's vulnerable right now, time to go in for the kill!

Thanks. Always fun to see these. They always eat up a good 30 minutes of productivity at work.

Good stuff

You gotta love McClure man, he proved his harsh critics from past years dead wrong. There was a reason he's lasted through all the coaching changes and misguided blame from the fans....its because he is a damm good player.

He was great last year (the only bad game he had was against Wiliams in San Diego). He's going to have a tough year with players like Ratliff, Jenkins and Wilfork lining up as the nose tackle, so I'm interested to see how he deals with them

Makes our line tick, and is so consistent.

Happy to see Blalock playing better, really need to see him get more consistent and put his tools together
