Chris D
They called Jason Snelling, Jason SmellingNorwood left Sunday's game against the Panthers with a head injury, the Associated Press reports.Recommendation: Jason Smelling then took over as Michael Turner's backup and ended up catching the first touchdown pass of his career. More on Norwood's status in the coming days.(Rotowire.com)Typo fail. But that's not what I posted this for. Every time Snelling comes into a game, be it someone get's shaken up or hurt, or the team just needs another option, he does a great job at picking up yards, and even blocking when needed. It's good to see that we have 3 guys that could all take on a starters role if someone went down.

FalconinPA
Yes, he is a great back up. Man, I am not used to the falcons having all these weapons!!!

We'll see how that works out for our secondary this year, but bench depth has always plagued this team. Looks like Smitty and TD are getting some of that worked out now. gjlaf
Good thing about this team is that our entire offense seems to feed off each other and play better, and I do mean everyone from Ryan to White to Snelling to the O-line....makes me pround to watch these guys develope as the team we have always wanted....Keep it up Falcons....kick NE rear!!!
