Pass rush

I'm officially on the Kroy Biermann needs to go in Andersons spot on the depth chart band wagon. I saw something today, that I thought was the most pathetic **** thing I have ever seen in an Atlanta Falcons football game. So here's Anderson, it's 2nd down or 3rd down I think? And the ball is hiked by Delhomme. Anderson rushes at first, he see's that Abe is getting semi-close to Jake, so Anderson just STOPS on the field and doesn't try to get through his man.

What the ****?!

Please STFU. The Panthers O-line played well today. Nobody provided much pressure at all.

Biermann was abused all day. I'm surprised they didn't at least let Davis or JA get some pass rushing time. They were at least getting some solid penetration at times. Only time Kroy got into the backfield is when no one blocked him.

Yeah Biermann is going to be inconsistent because there will be games he's physically overmatched. He's still going to have to get bigger and stronger.

Yeah, true, but at LEAST he came in after the play was over and shook his head like, "no no no!" Quite the team player, he is...

Nobody did anything. Not many pressures and no sacks.

I wanted to see a little more of Sidbury out there. He got his hands on the QB at least once in every Preseason game. It wouldn't hurt to let him get a few more plays in the place of either Biermann or Abraham.

I say if the guys in there aren't getting the job done, somebody else should get an opportunity. The rush was non-existent today and I think Sidbury could have provided a little boost.

The D-Line was Man Handled as a unit today after totally dominating the Dolphins last week. We have the pieces, we just need to know when to make changes when things aren't working.

Oh, you seen that too? I'm glad I'm not the only one!

Hmm...Well, I'm not saying you can't read, but if you took the time to read my post, you would see that I never said they didn't play well today. Just because they played great in terms of blocking for Delhomme doesn't give Anderson the right to just stop trying to rush when he hasn't even passed the ball yet and just stand there as everyone else is still rushing.... I was keeping my hopes up for Anderson, that was the last straw.

Panthers Oline put on a clinic today. So did the Falcons.

They shut our Dline down and raised more questions.

At least every Dlinemen scratched the stat sheet. Except Busterson of course. For the second week in a row.

I'm still not a fan of giving guys who wear our colors derogatory nicknames but there isn't going to be this "sudden awakening" from Anderson. He just doesn't have what it takes to be a consistently effective defensive end in the NFL.

give Jake and the OC credit as well. they always seem to run when Kroy/Abe was in and passed against Davis/JA. They went against there weaknesses. That is a game plan that many will take until we can get a well rounded DE which we have none of. We have specialist and it has seem to work until an OC decided just audible

oh wow they really lit it up Abe had 2 tkl, Davis had 1, and Kroy had an assist that was down field after he ran by him. JA I know was in on a tackle I watched him as he grabbed his legs up the middle. All of our DE's got owned today. To point out 1 single one is just hating and nothing else.
