The Falcons just sent out their weekly release for Sunday's game with the Carolina Panthers and it has a very interesting chart on quarterback Matt Ryan. It pretty much speaks for itself.

These are regular-season totals only. Here's Ryan's record when:

* Playing at home: 8-1

* Playing on the road: 4-4

* Playing indoors: 9-2

* Playing outdoors: 3-3

* Playing against the NFC South Division: 3-3

* Playing against the NFC Conference: 8-4

* Playing against the AFC Conference: 4-1

* Playing on an artificial surface: 9-2

* Playing on a grass surface: 3-3

* The offense generates 300-plus total yards: 10-3

* Finishing with 300 or more passing yards: 1-1

* Finishing with 200-299 passing yards: 6-2

* Throwing at least one touchdown pass: 10-2

* Throwing two or more touchdown passes: 5-1

* Completing 60 percent or more pass attempts: 10-2

* Finishing with zero interceptions: 9-1

* Finishing with a 100.0-plus passer rating: 6-0

* Being sacked no more than one time: 9-2

Interesting...

I don't know if guys are reading the same report I am. That report says, our quarterback is good indoors, he likes playing teams he's familiar with and when sacked often is less accurate.

Where do you see the part of him liking teams that he's familiar with? The guy plays at least 8 indoor games a year (so he wins at home..which you are supposed to do), and what QB isn't less accurate when being sacked more often? Just ask Peyton Manning and Tom Brady what constant pressure does to you.

:lol:

I'm glad we have such a great looking TEAM, because without the entire team performing, Ryan would not look as good as he does....no QB would. More than half of the numbers listed are team numbers anyway....but I know the QB always gets most of the credit.
