Ghost Rider
I think he got hurt in the 4th qtr...does anyone know what happened and what kind of injury he sustained?Ribs. He fell on his side/back on someones leg while getting in on a tackle. Didn't look too serious. Probably a bruise at worst. I doubt he misses any time. Falcons_own_nfc_south
Coach Smith said that we came out healthy from Game 1. So, I'm guessing that Perry should be good to go in Week2.He might be LP on Wed, Thursday and FP on friday

vel
not to be a d!ck head but this was addressed after the game. idk why every one started to have a fit. he clearly wasnt that bad if he got up fairly quickly. the reason everyone is nervous is because McNabb broke his ribs. Not unless you consider 2 to 3 minutes as quickly. lol. It hasn't officially been addressed. Smitty said he would address it on the injury report on Wed. Karst41
Sorry to be a Jackasz but HTF do you get a bruised rib to stop hurting ?Those are the most agonizing injuries of all, if you dont believe mejust ask Donovan McRibb;)
Ghost Rider
Sorry to be a Jackasz but HTF do you get a bruised rib to stop hurting ?Those are the most agonizing injuries of allJust time. Even a broken rib takes time to heal. Gotta rest it. Doctors can't do anything about ti. A bruised rib shouldn't take that long to heal. If their is any cartiledge damage or fractures then it can take a month or longer to heal considering you don't do anything to re aggravate it. it. I am thinking he is just bruised. He didn't fall too hard on it but hard enough to maybe bruise it. He should be close to being pain free by Sunday if that's all it is. I bruised my sternum before and the first thing you think when it happens is: how do i breathe to make it stop hurting? obviously he is gonna be down. **** mike peterson was also down on the same play for something in his eye. were you concerned? i wasnt

Ghost Rider
Let's not forget Norwood played last season with cracked ribs. It is much tougher for him being a scat back and return guy than it will be for a DT. It is hard to say really. Maybe it is something he can take a shot for and numb for the game. *NiteFalcon*
I have no qualms about resting him a game or two if he needs it. It early in the year rest your players when you can. but then again we do have a bye week in what week 4? they shouldnt have bye weeks that early. does us no good
