atlbaby
Is there any news of who the 53rd player is going to be? Or did the Falcons cut Hayes to save money on the cap? When players like Hill, Lewis, & Moore is inactive you have a stack roster.
Ghost Rider
I haven't heard anything. Are we just that good that we don't need 53? lol. I don't know but something had to be in the works for them to just drop a player like that. BTW, was anyone surprised that Trey Lewis was inactive? We must be really solid at DT for him to be inactive. I know Peria looked like everything I thought he would be when we drafted him.
Knight of God
Sidbury played.
Ghost Rider
Sidbury played.Yes he did. He wasn't inactive. And the me had nothing to do with the cap. Haynes was cheap and we aren't going to run with a 52 man roster. That is not smart due to injuries and what not. Someone will eventually be signed. chris30277
http://www.rotoworld.com/content/clubhouse...amp;majteam=ATL Falcons re-signed FB Verron Haynes.Haynes, who the team didn't want to guarantee a contract for and cut before Week 1, will back up Ovie Mughelli and perhaps help on some third downs. juiceaccts
It's a money thing.. Falcons avoided paying him some kinda salary bonus minimum or somthing...
Doctoall
It is the money thing. If he was on the roster the first game the Falcons would have to guarantee him his salary for the year. Now let's face it he is just back from a serious injury in Oakland and really did not play last year. So cut him from the roster for the first game and then resign him after the game with no salary guarantee fior the season.Get my seat ready I will be at the next game in Atlanta from sunny Cali."V" let's get her done.
