åntcap24
With what we saw in Biermann and Sidbury in the preseason added to Davis (who IMO should be the starter) and add that with Anderson and Abraham...We look awfully crowded. The way I see it..J Anderson should not see the field in typical passing situations. He should be rotated in and out on plays that should have a high chance of being a run play. He just doesn't create the pass rushing skills that Biermann and Sidbury do.I think Abraham should be rotated as well to keep him fresh. We have a nice luxury here.Lets not focus on JA98 numbers this year. His sacks may not be where he makes his impact.

Jesus
Keep it crowded. They all looked good today. Pennington was running for his life and when he wasn't he was tossing the ball off to his backs and close receivers.
xFalconLord
Honestly we have one stud, one bust and a bunch of low round picksStud: AbrahamBust: AndersonLow Rounders:Biermann (5th round)Davis (4th round)Sidbury (4th round)The low round picks are slowly taking away snaps from Jamaal Anderson
FalconinPA
yes, there is nothing like good depth. If someone goes out for an injury

Anderson is just not as talented as was previously thought. Bierman, Davis and Sidbury are more talented than was previously thought. If JA98 can manage to do his part in the run downs by making it 3 & long for the opposing team offense I say he did his job. Abraham & Biermann can finish off the rest
delaigle
CATCH 22Anderson has worked himself into a very bad situationBy not producing (Sacks) he gets replaced on passing downs --- so if he isn't in on passing downs he can't get sacks.AND everyone screams he's a bust because he gets no sacks.Note I do not believe sacks alone is a true measure of a players worth but because on his history (draft position and performance) he gets a real bad rap. I'd say he has failed miserably.
Komic
Biermann is working his way into a starting position then maybe Davis and Sidbury finally JA98 will get the end spot

ki46dinah
I could care less who starts at DE or DT...as long as the productive players get their reps. For example, Abe doesnt really need to start, because he will see plenty of reps.Biermann is making a case for extensive PT as well. insight
Our D-Line is not crowed at all. We have a little depth this year which is good. Several players get nicked up in the course of a 16 game season so you need lots of bodies. Its not a problem
