Guest Gritz
is that we were really hitting people. When you can hear that pop sitting in your recliner at home then some good things are going on.Dang I loved that.....
Chris D
Lol. The Phins fans kept saying "They are hitting too hard and playing with too much energy, they will be run down by the 2nd half!"
SetzerFalcon
Oh HECK yeah! This team is as physical and nasty as it's ever been. That was something I was really concerned about with losing the Law Dog...I know he'd become a liability in coverage but he still hit so freaking hard. I was worried for nothing though because Mike Peterson has taken over that mantle. Not to mention the rest of the defense.
sdogg
OMG!!! I was awesome how much faster our D is and the fact that they punish players when they hit.
MattIceRyanMVP2
What I loved is.....Our DEFENSE played well, while our O was average and we still won. That is a huge confidence booster.

bossFALCON™
it was only 1 game, but they were hitting and getting around the ball. they looked very fast like smitty talked about. they actually looked like the D he fielded in j-ville a little, which is what i think he is/was shooting for. one of the best defensive performance by the falcons (i'm not including oakland last year) in a very, very long time. I see you wasted no time putting out the welcome mat for the Panties!

Lord Sarcomere
What I loved was the tenacity of this D-line. We were there all day!I haven't felt this good about our d-line for a while. I have really high hopes for our D this year.
Rock Thrower
I liked that not matter if they were running or passing whoever had the ball knew they had been hit just about every time. Puts a little something in the back of their head.
MattIceRyanMVP2
The score should of been about 42-7, Knowing 19-7.
mastershake
We haven't seen hittin like that since the Tuggle and Case days. I was really impressed on how our def wrapped up and didn't miss many tackles.
Jesus
Last year they rebuilt the offense and we came out and put on an offensive show week 1. This year they rebuilt the D and we put on a defensive show...nice.
rogueleadersf
What I loved is.....Our DEFENSE played well, while our O was average and we still won. That is a huge confidence booster.Bingo! The fact that our run game was pretty much held in check ALL day,and Elam cost us 7 points,we still dominated the entire game.I find it ironic that coming into todays game my main concern was our D,and the fact that it was our O that sputtered a little, isn't that ironic, don't you think? Falcon Fantom
Yeah that D did a heck of a job today. Kudos to the whole team!! Peterson is a beast and our line is sick! I was only worried about the secondary coming into this game. Thatll improve each game. I like how Coach Smitty said we have alot to work on. I love it! Overall good game. theDIRTYcode
The defense was knocking the piss out of the Dolphins. BEER-MAN, and Abe are going to provide plenty of pass rush from the end spots. Mike Peterson is a beast on the outside!Today I really gained appreciation for Gonzo. I knew he was good. I've heard all the talk, and read all the stats. You just don't know HOW good he is until see him up close and personal.
