Falcons_own_nfc_south
Falcons DT Peria Jerry left Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a rib injury. His return is considered questionable. The Falcons' run defense looks much improved this season, with the rookie playing a key role.

schwarzenegger321
He has to much padding for that to be to serious. Feel on someones leg. Probably a rib cage strain. Those suck and take a week or two to recover from, but he will be okay.

Warrior999
I thought it was a concussion. Hopefully some extra padding can get him going next week.
schwarzenegger321
Didn't he come back into the game??I dont think so. They showed a close up of him and the trainer on TV. It looked like the trainer asked him if he could make it off the field and he said, "yeah", but he was really guarding his left ribs. Hopefully nothing serious, just a strain. But those take a while to recover from too.Perry was awesome out there today. We need him.
nuccah
He was definitely a beast today. Whats the story on Trey Lewis being inactive though?

JC Falcon
Well a bruised or cracked rib isn't going to damage anything, just hurt like heck, so he should be able to play with a pain shot and some intestinal fortitude next week.We had incredible pressure with our front 4 today, no matter who was in for the rotation. Awesome.
Falcons 'til Death
I think he just got the wind knocked out of him, he should be fine. And it looked like Peterson got poked in the eye on the same play.

mastershake
I bruised mine in a car accident. It hurt to lay down, sit up, laugh and to s***. You don't realize how long a day is until every breath you take is total agony. I don't even want to know how bad it would have hurt if they were broke. jidady
Yup, I broke a rib during a coughing fit once. My doctor was nice enough to medicate me into oblivion for the next 10 days. I needed every bit of it.
