FalcD56
He's named the 2nd string, and will be used in the wildcat. Pennington is still the starter.

Dr. Billings
Great! Chalk that up as a win for Atlanta. The rookie will throw 2 picks before being yanked.

wook21
Not meant to be a joke Charlie said they just announced it late they said Chad will still play alot but he was named the starter. I don't care who's back there as long as we don't see a repeat of that Carolina game a few years ago.

Abe
Yeah they have been quiet about him this preseason. He is a good kid but in our house and it being our season opener it will be a tough situation for him. He is underrated but I know we will not take him or that package lightly.Throwing from the wildcat is natural progression for that formation. I believe we will blow it up though. pzummo
The Falcons are the only team in the NFL that has fans that worry about other team's backup QB's. I mean seriously, how many threads are there going to be on our opposing teams BACKUP QB?!?!How about somebody start a thread on Josh McCown! Chris D
Who cares who the QB is! Let's put them on their back anyway!
Flyin' In DC
He is probably 2nd string because the 3rd QB cant come in unless the you take the the Number 1 and 2 ot of the game.
wook21
I'm with you chris but it caught me off guard with that one we have Williams starting I feel a little better with the secondary but I'm worried about Bess going crazy on the other side
1989Fan
if Pennington is hurt they will likely bring in Henne and ditch the gaycat for the game.
wook21
Henne is inactive

Carolina 10 and Falcons 3..... So Wildcat couldn't put too much point on Falcons D.. of course our D is not the same.. may be lil better and Young
